Good Morning everyone. Unless you're living under a rock, looks like changes have taken place at Sports Radio 610 KILT-AM Houston... Rich Lord, the station's longtime afternoon host of "The Triple Threat" was let go alongside Mike Meltzer of the Morning Show as Sports Radio 610 is making an attempt in boosting their flagging ratings, which had imploded since 2017. Here's the new line-up: 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM "Payne & Pendergast" 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM "In the Loop" 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM "Clint & Kamla" 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM "Texans All Access" 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM "The Six Pack with Matthew Jarecki" 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM "Matthew Jarecki" Any thoughts on the new line-up at Sports Radio 610 KILT-AM Houston ? A.) Love It B.) Hated It C.) TBD https://mikemcguff.blogspot.com/2019/07/sportsradio-610-kilt-hosts-talk-changes.html http://www.houstonchronicle.com/sports/amp/Rich-Lord-let-go-from-Houston-SportsRadio-610-14105838.php

Unless KILT-AM Sports Radio 610's Rich Lord's contract is renewed, we could say goodbye to him on "The Triple Threat" afternoon drive show (2:00pm-6:00pm). Speculation swirling fast around Matt Hammond being tapped to replace Lord on the afternoon drive show. Thoughts on Hammond possibly replacing Lord ? A.) Like the idea B.) Hate it because it messes up the chemistry of "The Triple Threat" http://houstonsportsonline.wordpress.com/2026/08/02/breaking-sports-radio-610news

For many fans and listeners of KILT-AM Sports Radio 610, what's your personal thoughts on the 5-hour afternoon show, "The Triple Threat" with Rich Lord, Sean Pendergast and Ted Johnson (2:00-7:00pm) ? Some may not like the show due to Johnson's constant blabbing about the Patriots this, Patriots that or Lord's refusal to interact with Facebook or even Twitter. http://houston.cbslocal.com/category/shows/the-triple-threat/ A. Like the show B. Hate it C. TBD

Having been taking out of the Texans sideline reporting by the Texans, 610 Triple Threat co-host Rich Lord has been going off on Texans RB Arian Foster by calling him an "A**HOLE". Craig Shelton of Houston Media Watch, had warned everyone that once Lord was replaced as the Texans' sideline reporter by John Harris, that Lord's behavior would completely change. Shelton says that he watched Lord kissing up to the Texans for 7 or 8 years. Now we're witnessing Lord being more vocal towards the organization. Lord also called Mike Francesca "blow-hard". Here's the audio of Lord's comments on Foster, etc.,: http://sheltonmedia.blogspot.com/2014/08/rich-lord-calls-arian-foster-a-hole-by.html

Houston Chronicle is reporting newly acquired Texans media contributor John Harris will be replacing Rich Lord as sideline reporter for the football team's radio broadcasts this fall, Texans broadcasting director Marc Vandermeer said Thursday. Harris, the former KGOW (1560 AM) and Yahoo!Sports Radio host who signed on recently as a contributor to the team's website and broadcast properties, will join play-by-play announcer Vandermeer on the team's radio network. Analyst Andre Ware also is expected to return to the radio network, which includes flagship KILT(610 AM). Lord, a longtime KILT talk show host, was the second station employee to hold the sideline reporter's job. Former KILT talk show host John Granato held the job from 2002-2006. This will be the first time in the team's history that the on-air radio game broadcast crew will be made up entirely of broadcasters not employed by KILT. Vandermeer said the decision was "no reflection" on Lord (YEAH RIGHT) but an effort to boost Harris' profile with the Texans broadcast group. "John Harris is going to be a big part of what we are doing on radio, TV and the website," Vandermeer said. Any reaction to these new developments?

Sports Radio 610 has folks switching gigs from mornings, evenings and afternoons. Ted Johnson, former 3-time Super Bowl champion with Patriots, has moved from the weeknights to the afternoon show joining Rich Lord and Sean Pendergast, which the show is now called: "The Triple Threat" and extends the show from originally 2-6pm (originally Sean & Rich) to 2-7pm in the Triple Threat show. Brien Straw moves from the weekday morning show with Nick Wright and John Lopez (6-10am) to replacing Johnson in the weeknights in a new show, being co-hosted with Paul Gallant from 7-11pm. Will Grubb has replaced Straw in the mornings. What is y'all reaction to the changes on 610 ?
