  1. Interesting report. Found this from an article on CityLab: https://www.citylab.com/life/2019/06/apartments-for-rent-where-to-move-top-cities-list-map-data/591151/ Its not very in-depth reporting on a very thorough and data rich report. With that being said its an interesting starting point if one is interested in where people are going. Thats why I'll link the actual report along with this. Check out Houston: https://www.apartmentlist.com/rentonomics/apartment-list-renter-migration-report-2019q2/ Its also not surprising where people are going. Many Cities on the West Coast are dying and the East Coast is getting ridiculously expensive. Many are moving to places like Denver, Tampa, Atlanta, Dallas, and Houston.
  2. Looking for a roommate to share a 2017-built townhouse in a gated community The rest of the house is fully furnished and the bedroom can be either furnished or unfurnished $850 rent + shared utilities (electricity, natural gas and internet) Room available now and minimal lease term 6 months (extendable) Easy access to rail (Astrodome 7-10 min walking distance), bus, restaurants and corner stores Washer/dryer/dishwasher/fridge/microwave all included and private garage Current roommate (male) works at the medical center Please feel free to contact Nan (jungonan@hotmail.com) Thanks
  3. With all of the ongoing and forthcoming residential development in downtown, will the additional supply create aditional demand sufficient to raise condo rental values? In other words, if there are thousands of new apartments, won't the additional supply (unless met by demand) cause rental prices on existing condos to drop dramatically? Do you think that the demand will be there? How about the demand for purchasing existing condos in Downtown?
  4. Howdy! I'm looking to move to the Heights with my boyfriend in a month, and we have had quite some bad luck in finding a house to rent. Does anybody know of a friend, brother, neighbor, barber, whoever, that has a house that we can rent? We make really good neighbors We are neat and tidy and looking to start a little family of our own in the Heights Criteria: #1. we have a small dog. She's 6, and a dachshund and will lick you to death. #2. Max budget around 2000 #3. would prefer a garage or atleast an outside area to keep tools for woodworking projects #4. 2 bedrooms Non smokers, good credit, good steady jobs. Can anyone give me any leads? We've been on har.com every single day...
  5. A great mid century modern home is coming available to let for only $895 at the end of June, 2012. So charming - 3 bdrms, Hollywood bath, 2 car attached garage with actual laundry room. The open floorplan has glass across back and a front pic. window. There are back & front (side) decks, beautiful dark-stained white oak hardwoods and wonderful unique tile. Aprox 1430 square feet, very good central air/heat. Landscaped and lots trees. If you like gardening, the soil was worked with great enthusiasm for 20 yrs so you can grow just about anything! Located in Sharpstown at 6410 Mobud. I LOVE this house! If you know anyone who might be interested please call Sandy 713-775-9888 My last tenants took great care- in excellent condition!
