  1. signs up around the Triumph Hospital along Albany, Drew, Helena, and Dennis
  2. Pearl is really banking on Midtown. I think this brings the total count to 4 possible Pearl complexes in the area.
  3. Pearl Woodlake Apartments by the Morgan Group at 2033 South Gessner Road.
  4. there's another apartment development slated right next door on the corner of TC Jester and Washington - potential mixed-use but don't quote me on that.
  5. Listed on the current planning commission agenda. Item #128. Latest rendering as of 6/2014:
  6. http://www.houstonchronicle.com/business/columnists/sarnoff/article/Apartment-developer-going-big-5466736.php
  7. Per the chron.com site, Hines has purchsed the Cafe Adobe site on Westheimer. I am assuming this also includes the surface lot across the street. To me, this site is too small for the typical 4-5 story apartment complex wrapped around structured parking. Could Hines be going vertical with an apartment high rise? http://blog.chron.co...eimer-property/
  8. 0' setback variance being requested for 5-story apts at Smith, Elgin, Louisiana and Rosalie. 2-story garage under 4 floors of apt space. Trees along Smith, Elgin and Louisiana to be preserved. New trees to be planted on Rosalie. "Windows facing the street will encourage residents to take "ownership," or responsibility for the sidewalk and the street." variance request: http://goo.gl/ao5ou see page 70ish map: http://goo.gl/tnKso
  9. I'm guessing this will be multi-family, considering the company. They are also listed on the Planning Commission Planning Agenda for 4/14. The "company" listed is Brown & *** Engineers, the Developer, The Morgan Group. http://www.morgangroup.com/
  10. I've seen some discussion of the new condos planned a block away at the NEC of Bettis and Bancroft, but I haven't heard anything about this site yet. The adjacent mini-storage building on San Felipe is still standing. It would be a shame to hide a nice new development behind such an inferior land use. What's the scoop?
