Radio Bar owners planning Mid City beer garden that'll serve food, show sporting events The owners of the Radio Bar, a popular Mid City neighborhood cocktail lounge, have submitted plans for a beer garden that would be built at the intersection of Government Street and Steele Boulevard. The beer garden would be built at 3808 Government St., said Kelli Paxton, manager of the Radio Bar, who would be co-owner and general manger of the new property. Plans are to have a climate-controlled area surrounding an open space that would be about 1,200 to 1,400 square feet — about the same size as the interior of the Radio Bar, Paxton said. The bar will be located on a 1.2-acre lot. More at: http://theadvocate.com/news/business/13113566-123/radio-bar-owners-planning-mid
