Yea that is a good article, I guess I should ask about the history of the Spanish Style home that one has been there since before 1944. AS seen in the pic here. http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg60/dlfswi/historic-houston/bras-mansion44.png 1953 pic http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg60/dlfswi/historic-houston/bras-mansion53.png 1964 pic http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg60/dlfswi/historic-houston/bras-mansion64.png 02 pic http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg60/dlfswi/historic-houston/bras-mansion02.png Also thx for the responses guys I appreciate it.

Do any of your guys have photos or info on what I have always known as the "old Meyer property" at the NE corner of 610 Loop South & S. Post Oak, right across the freeway from the MeyerPark retail property. I know there were some scenes from a movie shot at this location, there appears to be the old footprint of a home, and there is (or was) a small retail building at the SE corner of this property that used to be a gas station ( i think ). Anyone have any citable information about this property or any photos? HCAD.org doesn't describe it at all except for the northern edge next to the bayou as being HCFCD (Harris County Flood Control District) ownership. Kevin Jackson Moderator edit: The Frank K. Meyer residential property was located at 9111 South Post Oak Road in 1967. In present-day 2022, the Harris County Flood Control District water retention pond has an address of 4502 South Loop.

One box contents says: Photos of the Loraine and George B. Meyer house on Holcombe Blvd. Overview The George Meyer Family Photos and Memorabilia contains family photos, photos of the Loraine and George B. Meyer house on Holcombe Blvd. in Houston, a catalog of the company business, and a resolution on the death of Joseph F. Meyer. Dates: 1916 - 1967. Does anyone recall this property? I was looking at the Standard Blue Book of Texas Houston Edition dated 1907-1908 and came across a few cool, old, homes. I found the Residences of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Meyer. Very cool! I wonder where this was located?
