The hope is to start construction on a new road connecting the western end of League City Parkway and the eastern end of Friendswood Lakes Boulevard later this year or early 2024 and finish next summer. Later, the developer plans to extend West Boulevard southward to eventually connect with the future Grand Parkway section there. Homesite construction will begin after the completion of the League City Parkway section and detention. The community will have a total of around 100 acres of lakes, some of which will be connected for boating. The first phase includes 510 homesites to be released to 10 yet-to-be-announced builders during the first quarter of 2025, with model homes expected to open in the second quarter."

https://www.houstonchronicle.com/neighborhood/bayarea/article/league-city-clear-creek-development-18282559.php "League City residents want Clear Creek to remain a natural wildlife habitat, according to the first wave of public input meant to help guide the city’s development plans. Residents want more ways to access the green space, like walking and biking trails, an elevated boardwalk, while preserving the stretch of waterway from Davis Road to Bay Area Boulevard, city spokesperson Sarah Osborne said." https://communityimpact.com/houston/bay-area/development/2023/08/10/planned-conservation-projects-for-clear-creek-under-consideration/ "To achieve these goals, the plan recommends adding 2 miles of elevated boardwalk, 21 miles of hiking and biking trails, seven new kayak launches, increased signage, and creating new wetland protected areas. Trail connectivity is estimated at $13.6 million, while boardwalk development was estimated at $5.9 million. The plan also recommended improvements and developments for special park areas at an estimated cost of $20.3 million."

Surprised I couldn't find a thread about this specific campus - it has grown pretty quickly in the past few years. The campus opened in 2010 as the UTMB Victory Lakes Specialty Care Center. It was rebranded to the current name in 2015. MD Anderson opened an outpatient hospital and treatment center in a connected building that was completed in 2018. A separate medical office building, 7-story garage and skybridge that connect to the hospital were completed in 2018 as well. A 5-story patient tower was completed in 2020. It has been engineered for expansion up to 12 stories in the future.
