Variance sign is up for a 10' setback for a multifamily project at 580 N. Shepherd. Presto Maintenance Supply sold their company and moved out recently. Keep your eyes peeled for the next planning commission agenda for more details.

Anyone know if something is going up on this site? I drove by it tonight and it's cleared with fence surrounding the property.

I have been looking at high rise condominiums for sale in the greater Houston area and was hoping to get a little more information about the Mark Condominiums since the last time I saw it posted here. Last I checked, there are 38 units that are still for sale at the Mark. Why are they having such a hard time selling units? The galleria is a great area and the building seems to be very nice. I also don't understand the reasoning behind the affordable prices. I have seen similar floorplans at other buildings that have cost much more. I am assuming that the affordable prices are a result of the lack of sales. Any info would be great. Thanks

I was driving into town yesterday and notice a new construction crane off of woodway. It looked to be about 20 stories high. Can anyone tell me what this is for?

It is clear by now that many developers are focusing rennovating the strip of Post Oak from Westheimer to San Felipe. What about the areas between San Felipe and 610 (towards uptown Park?) The only building that fits the neighborhood is 1200 Post Oak Blvd. (apt. complex across from the McDonalds.) Everything else is old (i.e., Inverness and Winhall condos and dreadful 111 Post Oak Apts.). Those developments stick out like a sore thumb when looking at the beuaty and architecture of Uptown Park, Montebello, Villa D'este, and 1200 Post Oak, etc). Are there any plans to do massive reconstruction for those areas to better align with the rest of the proposed projects on Post Oak Blvd? Lastly, what is the "Great Room"? (the "tent" building by the Bently dealership)
