This is a long shot since I can only find the exterior and Fingers furniture commercials on Youtube. Does anyone happen to have a photo of the interior of Fingers Furniture in Greenspoint? As a kid in the 90s, I remember quite vividly how large Fingers was and just the massive amount of furniture they had on both floors was amazing.

I checked out a Value Village location located at 9500 Jensen which after some research I found was a former Finger Furniture location. Does anyone have any pictures of information about when the building was occupied by Finger Furniture. Fingers still owns the building so I have no idea when they moved out. It seems that most of what Finger built is still left. So whatcha got HAIF?

The one where Buff Stadium used to sit. Fingers is going to move the sports memorabilia to two other existing stores. I remember shopping there years ago. But it seems like we never actually bought anything there - they were always too pricey. http://blog.chron.com/primeproperty/2012/08/finger-furniture-to-close-big-gulf-freeway-store/

Finger Furniture On Cullen Blvd.
travelguy_73 posted a topic in EaDo, the East End, and East Houston
I noticed on my way home this evening that the Finger's Furniture location at Cullen says "opening soon" on their sign. We have all watched the painfully slow liquidation sale, then the removal of some of the signs, cleaning of others, etc. And now it is reopening? I can't find anything online, so if anyone knows anything, share it! Not that I'm excited to see it again, but it's better than a vacant building. eta: Their website says it as well... http://www.fingerfurniture.com/ -
The Fingers name will no longer grace furniture stores in Houston. As part of a corporate re-positioning, Fingers Furniture said today it will transform its Fingers-branded stores into Ashley Furniture HomeStores by the end of March. Those stores are in Willowbrook, Sugar Land, Humble and on the Gulf Freeway. To prepare for the changes, Fingers will close its stores Aug. 18-20 as it plans to liquidate $40 million of in-store and warehouse inventory,. All Fingers stores will open for normal business hours Aug. 21, kicking off the liquidation sale. full article

Score another one for Sugar Land. Fingers Furniture plans to move its corporate headquarters from Houston to Sugar Land in May 2007 as part of its plan to rapidly expand here. The 21-acre site will eventually house a 500,000-square-foot warehouse and 35,000 square feet of office space, said Robert Finger, president and chief executive officer of the company. The company searched for three years to find the right location for a move from its current headquarters on the Gulf Freeway at Cullen. View the entire story here.
