Link to article. Wow, not only am I getting a 1.1-million-square-foot teaching hospital within walking distance of my condo and a connection to N. Macgregor via Cambridge, but I'm also getting a 315,000-square-foot facility just down the street! I was hoping for more verticality, but I can live with it.

Is there already a thread for this project? The article says it will be a $1 Billion mixed use project just east of BP and could include hotel, apartments, office and retail. http://www.houstonchronicle.com/business/real-estate/article/Exclusive-Big-real-estate-project-headed-for-5149772.php

I alluded to this in the 2929 Wesleyan thread but now that bisnow referenced it this morning I figured it was ok to talk about. PM is redeveloping the solvay site by tearing down the existing bldg and replacing it w a hotel/condo and building a 20 story office next door. I can't confirm much re the hotel but it sounds like the office is moving forward and would assume the hotel is as well. Don't expect anything earth shattering architecturally speaking. Should be a nice addition regardless. There are a few more projects proposed in the immediate area as well, some further along than others, but 3333 sounds like the closest thing to a guarantee.

Stopped by TMC3 today. The Collaborative Building is awesome. Seems like Elkus Manfredi Architects is emerging in the Houston market with 3 projects so far. Hopefully EMA continues to get more projects around Houston, especially in our Healthcare/Life Sciences markets. https://www.elkus-manfredi.com/

Wow...more growing pains for The Woodlands. In the Houston Chronicle, it was announced that the Condo tower being planned for The Woodlands Waterway will stand at 20+ floors. It didn't give an exact number, but said it would top out higher than 20. Not only this, but several other mid-rises are planned for Woodloch Forest drive and The Woodlands Parkway. Read the article below. http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/nb/woo...ws/5644653.html

i expressed disbelief when the little bird said ritz carlton, but tweety mentioned confirmation from two sources on both sides of the, uhh, development. anyone hear any rumblings that they can confirm or not deny? also, crush (wine lounge) and sirenuse euro bistro are in the works. sirenuse is somehow related to the folks that brought us goose's acre. the viking cooking school in the new hubbell & hudson market & bistro will be the only houston location. registration is available at viking cooking school. one more rumor is that hubbell & hudson bought all three black walnut locations to shore up the finances for the new market & bistro at 24 waterway. something about an upscale hawaiian restaurant too. fun fun.

Any info out there about what may be going up? A pretty big warehouse near the N Main/Hogan st intersection is being cleared. The lot is pretty large and has a prime downtown view. I was curious what may be going up...some new homes have gone up recently in the area, and looks like there are plans for other homes.
