  1. 13 just had a story about a proposed 23 story high rise and how southhampton and boulevard oaks are complaining about the increased density/traffic etc that will result. they will be tearing down some older apartments to create this project. story
  2. Big land sale announced: http://www.bizjournals.com/houston/morning_call/2015/02/21-acre-industrial-site-near-downtown-houston.html?page=all
  3. HOUSTON — Harrison Kane of Rockspring Properties represented the seller of 2.77 acres at 3409 Brinkman St. in the Garden Oaks area just off W. 34th. Along with the land came a 38,000 SF flex building with an ambulance services tenant. The buyer was Braun Enterprises, which plans to redevelop the site in the future. https://realtynewsreport.com/rnr-real-estate-briefs-hou-aus-dal-sat-and-more-14/
  4. Looks like Broadstone purchased some more land for another apartment project in the greater Heights. Taking a wild stab that it might be this lot currently being used for a heavy equipment storage based simply on the shape of the lot and the shape of the new plat.
  5. Name of Development: The Mill Developer: Triten Real Estate Partners Location: 2219 Canal Street General Info: This includes a multi-family building, two freestanding restaurants, and approximately 13,000 SF office building (4 story with restaurant, coffee shop, retail on the ground floor). The multi-family is a 7-Story with 323 Units, equaling approximately 262,000 SF. It includes a restaurant, retail space, fitness area, club, event space, exterior amenity pool deck, fitness lawn, co-working space and parking garage. EDIT: Renderings are of the multi-family portion only. Site plan added for reference. Architects: EDI International Michael Hsu Still in design phase. This is all of the information I have at the moment.
  6. I'm certain I saw a topic about this but couldn't find it. Merge if necessary. Multi block apartments by Alliance Broadstone in Eado. Saw signs on all sides of this future project. I assume the retail portion on the northern side will continue. Sparkle burger on the southwest corner was closed and abandoned, I wonder if they moved elsewhere? They were pretty good old school burgers but don't ever order a double, they were huge.
  7. and nearby.... https://www.bizjournals.com/houston/news/2018/05/30/hines-looks-to-acquire-property-near-buffalo-bayou.html this will be for multifamily development
  8. I created a thread for this a while back, but I can't find it in through Google cache since all of my contributions to this forum were deleted. So, I'm reupping the thread again minus the posts that were in the previous thread (since I didn't save it and it's been removed from Google cache). 1505 Oliver Street in the First Ward. This is part of Washington Corridor area of Houston (I think). Street View from February 2017
  9. The intersection of MacGregor and Almeda is in dire need of some retail though. I know there's the gas station and a couple spots in the Mosaic, but there's a bunch of apartments nearby already. A little market would be nice. Maybe a deli/ taqueria. Coffee shop. Nothing too fancy... but at least a little bit fancy.

  11. It's interesting to note that the surface lot across from this just went on the market. http://www.loopnet.com/Listing/SEC-WESLAYAN-W-ALABAMA-Houston-TX/11813599/
  12. Not sure if this is new "roiling" or a known development (also technically EaDo), but I'm adding it here: Sunrise Lofts - 89 Units with 81 designated as Community Development Block Grant Disaster Relief https://csd.harriscountytx.gov/Documents/Table of Selected CDBG-DR Affordable Rental Projects 051920 - website.pdf Recent (3/22/21) plan review permit states 64,086 sq ft apts with amenities. Currently an empty lot.

  14. Project: Alexan Junction Heights Address: 3003 Summer Street Houston, TX 77007 Developer: Trammel Crow Architect: EDI International Information: 7 levels of parking with 5 levels of residential wrapping garage. 335 units, total of approx. 520,000 SF Start Date: 12/20/2021 Completion Date: 4/19/2024 (I'm waiting for renderings)
  15. Does anyone know what the plans are for the large piece of land just inside the west loop across from Northwest Mall? It is bordered on the north by Minimax St and the southern edge is just north of the 610/Hempstead Hwy intersection. The previous warehouse/commercial structure was torn down in 2006. It is currently owned by Fleming Loop Partners according to HCAD. http://www.hcad.org/records/details.asp?tab=1&bld=1&card=1&taxyear=2008&acct=1283230010001 Just curious. Thanks!
