Deborah Wrigley, the longtime reporter for Ch. 13 KTRK-TV (ABC), is no longer with the station after 37 or more years. "We are disappointed she turned down our offer to maintain a relationship with us," KTRK-TV VP of Creative Services David Lee told mikemcguff.com. "We wish her the very best & appreciate her years of service." Yesterday, Wrigley's biography on the ABC O&O station's website was removed, but there hasn't been any mention on her departure on both her Facebook & Twitter accounts. http://mikemcguff.blogspot.com/2016/06/deborah-wrigley-exits-ktrk-abc13.html

Mike McGuff of mikemcguff.com reported on Tuesday that KTRK Ch 13 Eyewitness News reporter Deborah Wrigley had just wrapped up her day covering the Houston Fire Department contract vote, and then suddenly needed the department's services. As she posted on Facebook, Wrigley was hit by a car on her way home. She described it as "being in a blender of car parts." She appears to be OK now based on the fact she took to Facebook to recount the event. Wrigley's words of advice: "drive defensively!" http://mikemcguff.blogspot.com/2014/06/deborah-wrigley-in-accident-ktrk-abc13.html?m=1 Reaction from anyone on Wrigley's accident?
