This is a lot for Meyerland. Imagine a mixed used development. Watching this. Former Armco 17-acre campus located at 9009 West Loop South. Will this be split up into different tracts or will it be sold for one, continuous tract?

That’s for the interchange project right? However, just west of 610 and Westpark there’s a bent that’s been constructed perpendicular to the Westprk Tollway. I assume it’s for the BRT which I guess means it’s gonna have an elevated section that goes above 69? Must be why they cleared out the Chick-fil-A there on Post Oak/Richmond

Degeorge Real Estate leases the Woodway Square Retail Center located at 6401 Woodway Drive. Another address for the center is 6531-6543 Woodway Drive. Kelsey Seybold is preparing to open a new clinic here. Kelsey Seybold is expanding at a rapid rate! Seems like every 6 months there's a new clinic opening in the Houston area. https://rejournals.com/kelsey-seybold-clinic-leases-space-in-woodway-square-center-in-houston/

Built in 1908 for Gustave Antoine Mistrot and Wiley Cooper Munn. The company sold dry goods. Think of it as a very early department store. This was Wiley Munn's first business. He then went into business himself and called it W.C. Munn Company Department Store.

Deleted this member. Also banned his e-mail address, and user name and similar ones. Also, he was coming from a computer in the Philippines, so I banned the entire ISP. I should probably ban the entire country. I know other web sites ban all users from Russia, Romania, and a number of Asian countries. I wonder if that would help here, too.

2036 East TC Jester is an 18,000 SF retail center located in the rapidly gentrifying Lazybrook / Timbergrove submarket. This project was acquired at a substantial discount to replacement cost and was 20% occupied at acquisition. The property benefitted from a 7 / 1,000 parking ratio and was quickly leased to 100% occupancy and sold. https://www.ancorian.com/2036-tc-jester

Hi All, I'm new to the forum and was just looking for insight on Franklin Lofts. I've been through one of their open-house events and was pretty impressed overall. The building is beautiful and has a lot of pros in my mind. I'm considering trying to buy there but just wanted some feedback before I start making any serious decisions. This is what I've come up with so far: Edit: The building was originally the First National Bank at 201 Main Street. Pros: 1.) Location 2.) (Relatively) Low HOA fees 3.) Historic tax exemption 4.) Spacious floorplans/hardwood floors 5.) Parking, etc. Cons: 1.) Good Value?? 2.) Cheap looking cabinets, kitchen area I keep finding myself going back and forth so any opionions or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

This is the shopping center with the Randall’s at Bellaire & Bissonnet. https://s25.q4cdn.com/658894972/files/doc_presentations/2020/11/3Q20-Roadshow-(Nareit).pdf A planned multi-story mixed-use redevelopment is in the works. Wonder if they’re signaling that the Randall’s will be closing, making the shopping center obsolete.

This thread was originally created April 6, 2016. I'm reposting / reupping this because this post and other content from me are no longer available on the forum due to a mod removing my account and its content in "error" (supposedly). An archive link of the thread before its deletion is coming soon. Mods, please don't move this to the Heights forum where all of my Washington Corridor posts were moved to. Mods, also don't sneak and move this thread and all the others for Washington Corridor, Oak Forest, Garden Oaks, and Independence Heights to the Heights forum once all the previous content is reposted as y'all have done and continue to do. This is NOT in the Heights and it's not part of the Greater Heights area in any way. This is in the Washington Corridor area, an area that as suggested and advocated for previously needs its own forum because there is lots of development happening here, much spurred by the Sawyer Yards and Buffalo Heights developments. That in itself usually merits the creation for a new neighborhood forum. Until then, posts for those neighborhoods should remain in the forum for "Other Neighbohoods" has is done with other threads that don't have a dedicated neighborhood or area of town forum.Thanks. 4105 Washington Avenue in Houston.

This shopping center next door to Hollywood Square sure does look similar. I wonder if it was the same architect? Looks like MLB Commercial Real Estate sold the center to Lionstone Investments in 2019. I stopped by this weekend and took some pictures. 3701 West Alabama street signage: More signage and building: Greenway Plaza skyline peeking over the retail center: Leasing by The Blue Ox Group: Skyscraper in the background:

Having grown up in East Houston I've always been accustomed to saying that the best Mexican restaurants are on the East side, primarily since the population is more Hispanic that side of the city. Problem is I don't really know if the ones I frequent are the best. Anyone have any nominations? One interesting restaurant, whose name I can't recall at the moment, is a Mexican seafood restauraunt that's run by Chinese! It's menu is an experiment in what some, I guess, nowdays call fusion. Instead of Spanish rice, you can have your meal with fried rice. Anyway, you wouldn't think that Chinese could run a sucessful Mexican seafood restaurant in a Hispanic neighborhood but they do. I love eating at this restaurant just because it's atmosphere is an atypical blend of two ethnicities.

Fuddruckers At 2400 S. Macgregor Way
Texasota posted a topic in Third Ward and University of Houston
The intersection of MacGregor and Almeda is in dire need of some retail though. I know there's the gas station and a couple spots in the Mosaic, but there's a bunch of apartments nearby already. A little market would be nice. Maybe a deli/ taqueria. Coffee shop. Nothing too fancy... but at least a little bit fancy.- 8 replies
