Came across the William Stamps Farish II mansion. I couldn't find an exact address but the photograph was taken in 1928. Any help with this one? I'd assume somewhere in River Oaks or Memorial. Maybe on Lazy Lane? Probably designed by John F. Staub? The mansion looks huge!

I'm not sure of this person's first name. Any help here? I read F. A. Heitman was a local hardware tycoon. The house was designed by none other William Ward Watkin. Such a beautiful home, that was since demolished.

wow! So that's who designed and owned that infamous mansion in the Museum District. I never knew it was one of Maurice Sullivan's homes. Very cool! Does anyone know about this house? Must have been built in the 1920s?

wow! Found an unknown residence of Mr. Joseph Finger. Looks like it's sandwiched in between the Museum District and Montrose located at 801 Portland Street, Colby Court. I wonder if he designed the home himself? Any pictures? From the newspaper The Texas Jewish Herald dated March 24, 1927. Hadassah Silver Tea A silver tea for the benefit of Hadasah will be given at the home of Mrs. Joseph Finger, 801 Portland, Colby Court, on Wednesday afternoon, April 6, from 3 to 5 o'clock. A cordial invitation is extended the public.

I came across this vintage menu and wondered if anyone has heard of this place? I believe it was active in the 1950s? It was an Italian restaurant located in the Museum District, close to Midtown called Collora's Restaurant located at 4728 Fannin Street.

These 3 lots are up for demo, they were all for sale by the same owner. The shape of the property is pretty awkward, if they end up being able to take that middle property this could be a good lot for an apartment building. https://www.flickr.com/photos/195884849@N02/52686786236/in/dateposted-public/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/195884849@N02/52687054434/in/dateposted-public/

I was searching Ebay or old TMC stuff and came across a rare? matchbook for Kaplan's Delicatessen Restaurant located at 5225 Almeda Road. How did this place compare to the original in the Texas Medical Center on South Main? (Wait, Kaphan’s Restaurant At 7900 South Main is run by a different owner?) Did anyone ever eat here?
