  1. This could be worthy of a new topic, but regardless I found out what the 2nd midrise will be... There's an ugly, overgrown lot at North Braeswood & Main (east side of Main) that I walk by almost daily on my way to the trails - they've been using it as a staging ground for the re-surfacing on Main, and I noticed there was no longer a for sale sign. "AHC South Main LLC" closed on the property on 5/19/16. I couldn't figure out what exactly that was but a managing director for Allen Harrison Co. (AHC) signed one of the documents. I'm not sure if this will be deleted, but I was able to read the article Urbannizer referenced from March without a subscription (just had to put in my email): I kept reading that as 7 stories, but sounds like it will actually be 11 floors total Edit: Sorry, that's just 1 of 2 midrises. The other will be a 5-story complex on 3 acres in the Heights (per the article)

  5. I'm certain I saw a topic about this but couldn't find it. Merge if necessary. Multi block apartments by Alliance Broadstone in Eado. Saw signs on all sides of this future project. I assume the retail portion on the northern side will continue. Sparkle burger on the southwest corner was closed and abandoned, I wonder if they moved elsewhere? They were pretty good old school burgers but don't ever order a double, they were huge.

  15. Looks like a residential high-rise is (well, more likely was) planned for 3030 Travis St. Sometime between Jan. 2015 and Aug. 2015 the owners removed all leasing information from the strip center that sits on the site. I was going to dump this in the Houston: Potential thread but there appears to be some intent to build here, just may happen later rather than sooner. http://www.estudioarchitecture.com/# Street View: https://www.google.com/maps/place/3030+travis+st+houston+tx/@29.7429346,-95.3773422,3a,75y,323.82h,90t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m4!1s0XnkosqAYDeJkmiJkWPijg!2e0!7i13312!8i6656!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0xc2661e4e68979a77!6m1!1e1
