  1. Always wondered about this building. Today I thought I would stop by and take a few pictures of the elegant condo high rise. Park Square One Condominiums located at 49 Briar Hollow Lane.
  2. Houston Housing Authority lists a “Highrise” on the site of the Ewing St apartments as part of their 2024 plans for which they are seeking funding: See pg. 5 in the link below: https://housingforhouston.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/Part-I-Annual-PHA-Plan-_-Attachments.pdf This would be across from Tema’s lot, from where Two Hermann Place is planned.
  3. Project Name: Riva Row Multi-Family Location Address: 1 Riva Row The Woodlands, TX 77380 Start Date: 1/31/2023 Estimated Cost: $110,000,000 Scope of Work: New ground up multifamily rental apartments located in The Woodlands, TX. 5. https://www.houstonchronicle.com/business/real-estate/article/Lennar-s-apartment-division-buys-Galleria-area-13841951.php Conflicting account of where exactly the site is located: The Gables project is SOUTH of the parcel that's on the corner of Westcreek/San Felipe and across from Arabella. Based on HCAD it appears that the lot is in fact on the corner of Westcreek/San Felipe. See Parcel A (BELOW)
  6. https://protecttanglewood.com/updates/ Location The Watermark Tanglewood (1661 Tanglewood Blvd.) Watermark Retirement Communities recently mailed a selective announcement to property owners in the area of a proposed 20 story, 62-year and older luxury community along with a marketing survey and invitation to a focus group study. The proposed site is owned by WMJK Ltd. The THA Board is still trying to gather information and understand if any alternative options might be available, such as potentially raising capital for private purchase of the property and converting it to a green space. It appears Watermark is currently in the due diligence and marketing phase for this development. Further communication will be forwarded as facts are obtained. Anyone interested in attending the Planning Seminar/Focus Group on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 may call the market survey company ProMatura at 800-201-1483.

NEC Montrose and West Clay. 20 stories. 9 floors of residential above 9 floors of parking. Two floors of retail with one level of underground parking for the retail. 2019 start date listed. 9. Drewery Place, Phase I: Phase II (now known as Laneways Midtown) : https://skyrisecities.com/database/projects/district
  10. Proposed residential bounded by Live Oak/Pease/Nagle & Leeland St. Currently a warehouse sits on the site. SubdivisionPlatPDF_Ivy Lofts - 52629 - 151005.pdf
  11. Looks like Pelican has a new project once The Wilshire is finished. 17 stories and 58 units. There's a render in PaperCityMag but I am too dumb to figure out how to post it here. Expecting to break ground summer of 2016. http://www.papercitymag.com/interiors/the-homey-high-rise-new-houston-tower-6300-woodway-places-comfort-over-gadgets/#2 http://www.papercitymag.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/6300_Wooday-465x620.jpg
  12. Did we know about this one? Just received approval for the Downtown Living Initiative. Additionally, Illinois-based Marquette Cos. is developing the other newly approved project, according to the district's documents. The 304-unit, 24-story apartment tower is planned for Block 114, bounded by Commerce, Jackson, Franklin and Chenevert streets, just a block northeast of Minute Maid Park.
  13. I'm surprised no one has posted this yet... http://realtynewsreport.com/2014/11/18/stream-partnership-buys-600-jefferson-tower-in-downtown-houston/ It would be a complete shame if they turned it into a glass box. The exterior could use some TLC, but why not just use that money for the interior/lobby?
  14. I heard from a realtor friend that Randall has secured a site near Discovery Green for a 20+- story condo tower. Supposedly it is "sexy". We shall see. Anyone heard anything?
  15. Doesn't look like he is flipping it. This flyer says it will be a 125-unit tower https://www.hfflp.com/GetDocument.aspx?ID=102795&FN=Midway+Walmart+Flyer.pdf&DT=1
  16. I heard today that all the tenants were told to move out by Sept. This 17 story building is a rental. I wonder of it will be made into condos or what will happen. 17. This mid-rise is listed under "current projects" on Allen Bianchi's website. Anyone know more? http://www.allenbianchi.com/components/com_currentprojects/images/projects/large/11.jpg http://www.allenbianchi.com/components/com_currentprojects/images/projects/large/12.jpg http://www.allenbianchi.com/components/com_currentprojects/images/projects/large/83.jpg http://www.allenbianchi.com/components/com_currentprojects/images/projects/large/84.jpg http://www.allenbianchi.com/index.php?option=com_currentprojects&layout=detail&id=2&Itemid=3 Current design:
  18. Downtown residential highrise's being planned by Marquette Cos. Totaling more the 350 units. But they don't stop there... http://www.bisnow.com/commercial-real-estate/houston/what-do-downtown-and-galveston-have-in-common/ Managing director Darren Sloniger tells us Downtown feels like Chicago (where he's based) did 20 years ago. (We just wish the city had a winning basketball team like Chicago did 20 years ago.) The City's new retail strategy, focus on parks, and residential incentive all point to a submarket about to take off. He's doing due diligence on a few sites, and tells us he'd like to develop a couple high-rise projects totaling about350 units Downtown. 19. From the today's edition of the Houston Business Journal (Jan. 27th) http://assets.bizjournals.com/houston/blog/breaking-ground/Astoria-Exterior.jpg I wrote a story in the Jan. 27 edition of the Houston Business Journal that details plans by Randall Davis and Roberto Contreras to build a new condominium tower in the Galleria area using $40 million from foreign investors through a federal immigration program. We ran a rendering of the 23-story Astoria, which is designed to have 55 condos, but did not have room to show other projects developed by Davis. The owner of Houston-based Randall Davis Co. has developed and redeveloped numerous residential buildings over the last two decades in the Houston area. Click on the slideshow to the right to see some of his other projects. Webcam: http://oxblue.com/open/transwestern/5oaks Latest rendering and info: http://www.houstonchronicle.com/business/real-estate/article/Galleria-area-tower-has-global-backing-5373796.php http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w208/houtosme/AstoriaLarge_zps268e5287.jpg
  20. I apologize in advance if this is either built or has been posted here already. Just looking online and came across this. Anybody know of it? http://www.wdgdallas.com/ The description is 33-story, 307 unit residential with 83,000 sqft. of retail. Look under Retail.
