  1. After yesterdays rain the Burger Joints parking lot is as dry as a bone. My condolences.
  2. Dear, I never stated the BJ could not have permitted for permeable parking. Reading is fundamental. "You are just making guesses and know nothing about it. And I would bet a dollar to a doughnut that Burger Joint didn't even consider it." Making guesses and knowing nothing about it? Pot meet Kettle. Mark Twain: Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.
  3. Bless your heart.....open your eyes. The grates are there and underneath are a series of 36" pipes. But you would have already known that if you "drove by the Burger Joint every day and watched them put in the parking lot". What Hughies got permitted has nothing to do with what the Burger Joint got permitted. Different site different needs. Again, please listen to Mr. Twain.... Mark Twain: Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.
  4. Again, what sort of person revels in a business having a difficult time getting their doors open? If you drove by every day you would have known there was drainage put in. These guys are in the restaurant business not construction. The parking lot was most likely graded incorrectly. Do you know for a fact a permeable parking lot was permissible per COH approval? No? I thought so. Please let me share that Mark Twain quote with you again. Mark Twain: Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.
  5. I'm glad the Burger Joint's struggles in getting open brings you such amusement. Drainage was added but probably designed or built incorrectly. Why would anyone assume someone would build a parking lot without drainage or worse yet add it after it's built? Mark Twain: Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.
  6. Ahhhhhh......I get it.....a troll? You can't be for real.
  7. Try a trip to Savannah. All of the history w/o the smell of pee and vomit.
  8. They were equated as "eye-raising characters". Maybe we can rent a bus for the "eye-raising characters" to go to the College Station PigglyWiggly to gawk at the rednecks.
  9. That is still no reason to equate them to crackheads and drunks. Sorry that there were no crackheads and drunks there to amuse you.
  10. There is no reason to lump Transvestites (Transgender) in with crackheads and drunks.
  11. I always thought of Austin as "The Big Heights".
  12. Gorgeous house available in Katy. No parking issues. http://swamplot.com/old-katy-home-juices-up-the-joint-300k/2015-01-30/
  13. What you describe is called "Urban Living". You can move you know.
  14. "Muslim Outreach"? Where is this nonsense coming from?
  15. The alcohol prohibition goes back to the Onstead days. They probably changed their policy to make the chain more marketable.
  16. I digress but the situation is similar at Chilosos. The order taking and payment system are a mess however the food is great and the prices good. I save Chilosos for the weekend when I'm not in a hurry.
  17. Great news. It was starting to look like a failed project like the food truck lot around 16th and Shepherd.
  18. Think I'll stay out of the restaurant business. Too crazy.
  19. From todays Chron http://www.chron.com/entertainment/music/article/Pegstar-plans-new-music-on-north-side-of-downtown-5668117.php
