Why is the Burning Pear having so much trouble? The wife and I went on Friday night at 7:00 pm, and it was COMPLETELY EMPTY! We parked on the top level of the parking garage, everything else was packed, and there was not one person in this restaurant. We've enjoyed it each time we've gone! I just don't get it. Good food at reasonable prices, huge portions, nice atmosphere. What's the deal? Am I missing something?

We ordered the calamari at Amici, and didn't read the menu very well I guess. Needless to say, we were a bit surprised at what was brought to us! Won't be going back. Not because the food was not good, but because it was overpriced, the portions were small, and we couldn't figure out what their cuisine focus was.

Any poll that has the Olive Garden as an option for best Italian restaurant is an ABSOLUTE JOKE.

I'm in one Riverway and can see the construction. I think I'm high enough up that it won't block my view of Memorial once it's finished. If it's only 20 floors, I should be good to go. I believe though that the first 4 or 5 floors will be parking.
