Highrise Tower

My visit to TMCHP this weekend.

There is pedestrian activity! There was an event with food and merchandise.  This is a very good thing that people are starting to notice this amazing park. The park is kind of hidden. Hoping that the 30 to 40 story hotel tower will make TMC3 stand out from afar.

Don't want to get anyone excited but there is utility work going on outside the hotel parcel.  Fingers crossed something happens soon!

Dynamic One was touched up again. Now the base exterior paint matches with the rest of the building.  Looking good!!

I believe those plates on the right are removable for name changes? Let's fill those up!

The flowers/plants are in-season and look amazing. Love the blue and purple flowers!

Site visit today.  I haven't taken any photographs of the two vacant parcels in a few years.

I'm sure something tall will go here.  It will, however, take a few years to plan out.  

I'd love to have a mixed-use tower.  A single tower containing office, apartments, residences, and retail.

There was a rumor on HAIF that Fertitta was buying this old apartment complex.  Looks like the rumor was (just slightly) off.  Fertitta bought the vacant parcels next door.

The infamous vacant Westcreek parcel that once had the hotel proposal.  The land value must be so high that nobody wants to buy it.

1 of 3 vacant parcels a long the infamous Westcreek Lane.  This will become a high-rise within the next 5 years.

I've passed by this building a thousand times and never got a photograph of the side.

What's going on with the exterior facade facing the Southwest Freeway? Looks like artwork, but it could be temporary painting methods.  Blue tape or something?

I personally like it.  I don't think it will stay this way.

Is this medical clinic very active? Such an usual medical center.

A new store opened up here. It's called Worth & Co.  Has anyone bough their furniture? Is it any good?

Weird having a surface-lot oriented development in the heart of Uptown/River Oaks.  Any chance of this parcel gets bought and becomes a mixed-use development?  Hopefully (without) the Jack in the Box.

Apparently the Starbucks behind is open.  Perfect location for employees of this office complex!

This office complex is underrated. Nobody ever talks about it. I'd imagine it's prone to flooding since it backs-up against the bayou.

At one point there was supposed to be a small multifamily conversion here.  I don't think it ever happened?
