Does anyone remember an Italian market called, Zampieri's.... or something like that. It was a god-send to my Sicilian grandmother who transplanted herself in Texas in 1970. I thought it was where Mandola's Deli is on Telephone Rd./Leeland. And what about the LC Cafeteria downtown under Woolworth's?

That wasn't Kaphan's. I think that was Gaido's or Christie's. It was a seafood restaurant, in particular, Kaphan's wasn't.
