At some point I expect that a highrise will make sense, but I wonder how the Domain apartments are leasing so far. It appears the restaurants, LifeTime, and Studio Movie Grill are doing very well, but I haven't heard about the rental properties. Real estate in the area thrives because of the location and schools, but I wonder if renters will pay the premium to be in City Centre. Personally, I think twenty somethings without kids will want to live in the city centre complex for the location and amenities, but I haven't been a twenty something without kids for a while

We had dinner at RA tonight. They've got a great happy hour menu and pretty good sushi. It looks like they're having an open house for the apartments/lofts. I don't think the brownstones are moving quickly... it seems the consensus is that they're a bit (or a lot) pricey. Maybe they'll be more appealing after the city centre project is closer to being completed.

We live a few blocks from City Centre and have joined the LifeTime athletic club. We were previously using Bally's, and there is no comparison. The childcare and facilities are excellent. Of course it costs twice as much, but you get what you pay for. We are looking forward to the Movie Studio Grill and other dining establishments to open.
