    "Grand Texas Theme Park in New Caney has announced that it will start construction on its Big Rivers Waterpark in August, with an estimated opening of summer 2018.     Agree ... it's amazing all of the residential projects being completed Downtown ... Market Square, near Minute Maid Park, near the new Sky House towers .... Downtown is finally becoming a place to live.

    I think as long as you have people driving in from further outside the city (where it's cheaper to drive a car than use Uber) you'll still need parking garages.

    Hopefully. I own a place in the Medical Center ... my plan is to eventually move Downtown.

    It's a slow process but it's finally getting there.... they just need to keep up with the residential development. Nothing is gonna happen unless people actually live Downtown.

    I love the improvement, but it probably would have been quicker to tear it down and just build a new building.

    Splashtown has been investing a ton of money improving the park (was there on Wednesday) ... wonder if this is partially out of fear of the new competition coming.

    #1 Supermarket (trader joes / whole foods / H E B / Kroger) #2 Expand Greenstreet (or something similar) to have Urban Outfitters / Banana Rebublic / Diesal / H&M / etc.

    Love Hermann Park ... I live 2 blocks from Smith Land station so on weekends I take the train ... so much easier than looking for parking.
