The Astros aren't looking at those developments without considering the environment they play in. They're also looking at St Louis which is more urban. The idea is to get a feel for what to incorporate in to the development. I expect it to blend well with MMP. I just expected a much larger plan to be unveiled.

Again with Hines behind it it should be fine.

Aerial photos and other images included in leasing materials for 2306 S MacGregor Way.

Located on the property are the buildings last occupied by Luby's and  Fuddruckers. The street address for the restaurant buildings is 2400 S MacGregor Way.

I've been thinking for a long time they could throw up another midrise or highrise apartment building!

I've been on the conference circuit a lot in the past few months, both in Houston and out of state, and it seems "go to an Astros game" is a thing a lot of out of towners are doing while here for a conference. They seem to all end up at the Rustic or something similar. Post seems "too far."

    Yep and Rockets games.

"LyondellBasell confirmed its plans to convert its Houston refinery into a hydrogen facility during an earnings call Friday, saying the soon-to-be-shuttered facility is now on track to participate in Houston’s HyVelocity hydrogen hub, one of seven hubs selected earlier this month by the Biden administration to receive as much as $1.2 billion each in federal funding."

Shell is moving from its longtime landmark tower, Hancock Whitney Center (One Shell Square), to this location in 2025.

"When the mid-rise building is completed in early 2025, Shell’s 800 local employees will relocate there from the Hancock Whitney Center, the skyscraper that has housed Shell’s local operations since 1972 and until recently was known as One Shell Square.

Though much of New Orleans' energy industry has decamped for Houston over the years, Shell, which has its North American headquarters there, has kept a sizeable presence in the Crescent City. Agreeing to a 12-year lease in a building constructed to its specifications should quiet worries about losing another major employer, and may help economic development officials as they try to lure other companies to the metro area."

Weird to say but I've never been to New Orleans. Happy for them

Happened this weekend for both this and the show they do for Channel 39.

It doesn't look bad. I think it's interesting how they actually integrated the date, time & weather conditions into the intro itself. Might be one of those "blink and you miss it" things.

Skyline background has been updated. Texas Tower is in there now.

Regarding the bug on the screen - at least they've removed the "LIVE" tag over it that's been there for the last year or two. I don't know who exactly that was there for, but it was on both the streaming & OTA feeds.

I've always hated their logo it looks too bulky 😵‍💫

Hmmm..wonder what they have in mind…perhaps replacement of old fashioned scoreboard with electronic version?  There is continuous noise about this…

I would be pissed if they do!!!!!!

Below are exterior renderings of Eggheadz, a new restaurant opening at 4720 Almeda Road. The renderings were posted recently to Eggheadz's Instagram.

It's hard to tell from the rendering if Eggheadz will occupy the entire first floor or not. It's also hard to tell if this is all one building (though, I'm thinking it is) or if the adjacent lot at 4716 Almeda will extend to single-story building with retail. Perhaps someone with knowledge of this development can provide further insight.

As previously noted, JT Arc Studio is designing the 4720 Almeda building (possibly the 4716 Almeda one too).
