Will most certainly bring a Catch to ROD, does this include the vacant parcel across Westcreek? This is great news.
I was thinking the same thing he is going to bring one of his high end concepts that's not in Houston yet.

My apologies. I really did not intend for my comments to be taken personally. Also, I don’t use HAIF by browsing Subforums. I either select “all activity” or “unread content.” Then I choose to read what catches my attention, so I actually had no idea I was in a particular subforum with discrete rules. In any case I’m glad your issue was addressed. I don’t notice any changes on my end.

Thank you, @steve1363. It felt like I was being unfairly targeted for making a suggestion in a forum designated for suggestions.
Anyway, life is too short to sweat the small stuff. I'm sorry for my response to your post. I hope we can move on from this. This is beautiful

"The Astros are in agreement with free-agent closer Josh Hader on a record deal for a reliever, marking a sudden and splashy addition to their bullpen.
Hader’s deal is for five years and $95 million and will pay him $19 million per season, a person familiar with the agreement confirmed to the Chronicle. It includes a full no-trade clause and does not include any opt-outs or club options. The agreement is pending a physical."

Maybe it's a situation where they have to spend the money or lose it

They're starting to get some nice developments out that way.

"Billionaire Tilman Fertitta has purchased a prime parcel near Memorial Park, opening an opportunity for him to expand his business along one of the Inner Loop's busiest corridors.
The hospitality and gaming tycoon announced the acquisition Thursday of 5757 Memorial Drive, where a Comerica Bank is located. The branch was still open Thursday. Comerica Bank will rent the property until at least summer, when it plans to move, a Fertitta spokesperson said.
The 1.6-acre property is just east of Memorial Park and Bayou Bend, north of River Oaks.
“Memorial Drive is a renowned thoroughfare in Houston, and the synergy with Brenner’s (steakhouse) on the Bayou nearby made the decision simple. The adjacency of River Oaks and Memorial Park only enhances the appeal of this location, and we look forward to expanding our business in this area," Fertitta said in a statement.
Fertitta is exploring development opportunities for the site, a spokesperson said."
Maybe Fertitta want's to build a restaurant or get in to the high end condo craze that are also going to be built near here.

I also heard don't know how true it is that he bought the older apartments on West Creek near Steak 48.

Indeed, and the funding is being put together for the finishing of the tops of the caps, both the Midtown/Museum District caps and the Downtown/Eado cap.
I still kinda wish they would just make it one big as cap like the Eado one .

You misunderstand the picture. Those cap extensions are being incorporated into the plan for construction as the project is done, not put off to the future. They just have to do additional enviro studies to make the changes to the plan.
Oh okay nice! I'm glad they're larger than what they originally planned for!

I attended the meeting in person on Crawford St. in midtown. The room was way too small for the number of people that showed up. They said they weren't expecting this many people to show up. It was very hard to get access to the boards they had about the presentation. I was able to get a few pics of some of them. Several local tv news stations were here also.
Interview with one of the local Spanish speaking stations.

It's the fourth picture down.

I'm intrigued about those future cap extensions they might as well just build the Caps already extended 😵💫😵💫😵💫

So if I'm coming from 288 you pretty much follow 45 around to the new connectors to exit Memorial/Allen Parkway?

Nextdoor had a post alerting everyone to the fact that TxDoT would be closing the exits to Allen Parkway, Memorial, and Houston Avenue as part of the project, making it impossible for anyone who needs those exits to get to their destinations. I don't think they realized that with the Pierce Elevated torn down, those exits would be meaningless. Hilarious.
I was wondering how they were gonna do those exits.

Hobby is about the only reason I drive the Gulf Fwy any more, and yes, this exit could use some serious redesigning.
Yeah it's terrible. I have a feeling they'll probably have to take some right away I'm assuming some homes because they are definitely going to reconstruct that interchange.

no doubt TXDoT will say it needs to be expanded to 5 lanes of traffic in each direction with 4 managed lanes.
rather than questioning the idiocy, everyone will nod their heads because they can't imagine any other way.
It does there's not even shoulders on some stretches and the pavement is in bad condition. Also the exit to Hobby Broadway that intersection is a mess 😵💫
