so it doesn't fit he bill. and the taco place sure doesn't either. kind of embarassing that Heights residents support them so much. seems no sense is involved. -

Gerald Hines Waterwall Park At 2800 Post Oak Blvd.

I was on a mass bike ride recently and unfortunately harassing the police seemed to be the norm. It disappointed me that the riders didn't know when to shut up but instead made the situation worse. The skaters have already addressed the identical situation in the 90's and have been before city council (as have i). It was unforutunate that the younger generation believes that the police were in the wrong when quite frankly, the cyclists in the group were in the wrong. -

didn't know lamar was by a dock. edit: will add to the post ww2 pics when i can get back to a scanner. evidently in the old days the schools gave post cards to send back home (yes all the silver pics) so that the parents would pay for the bonds to rebuild the school. scanned the original pic in and my aunt had flashbacks from 60 yrs ago. i showed the same pic to ny nephew and he immediately questioned why there were so many chilren in the cafeteria.

Coog's Crossing: Mixed-Use Development At 4001 Gulf Fwy.

Inside the reopened Finger Furniture store is a wall illustration of a lemon tree and the words “When life hands you lemons.” A lemonade stand will soon be installed. A year ago, Rodney Finger may have had a sour taste in his mouth after he found himself out of the furniture business. His family had owned Finger Furniture for more than 80 years, and in recent years they also owned the local license for Ashley Furniture HomeStores. Debt problems forced Rodney Finger out of the furniture business, but now he is back with his remodeled store on the Gulf Freeway. full article- 221 replies

The developers of the Ashby high-rise sued the city of Houston today seeking more than $40 million in compensation after repeated denials of their permit application. “The city must learn that it cannot misapply the law to please a select few or to achieve de factor zoning regulations that our community has consistently rejected,” said Kevin Kirton, the chief executive of Buckhead Investment Partners Inc., the company that sought to build the 23-story tower at 1717 Bissonnet near Rice University. full article
