I tend to agree with jmitch94's comment, although I would love things to be otherwise. i have been told -- by someone in a position to know a bit -- that this Target is their most profitable store (I assume just in Houston). So, my guess would be that they would not close it, although if their management were clever, they might be open to the idea of redeveloping all or part of the property.
everyone feel free to blame me...i love that target and i am sure that i one of the main people that keep them in business haha!

Yeah if you go to the Houston flood maps
http://www.harriscountyfemt.org/
Pretty much the entire park system is designed within the flood plain of the bayou. I'd imagine after any super heavy rain or hurricane, theres going to be money allocated for cleanup of the park.
well i guess today is the test! haha!

Wow.... Java Jazz.... Haven't heard of that place in a while.
good times indeed!

Are they from the Klein area?
well...Justin (singer) and his brother Jeremy (drummer) are from the Heights area but now all of the members live in San Marcos/Austin/Round Rock area! (Justin attended HSPVA (as did Ryan the violinist) while Jeremy attended Waltrip)

wow so awesome! thanks for the pics! i am deeply immersed in the live music scene and this place blows me away! i really hope it delivers as the pics and article suggest!!! my best friend of 19 years is the lead singer of a touring rock band and really hope to see them play here one day! (shameless plug: check out www.blueoctober.com !)

I was only there one time a few years ago so it wouldn't be fair to say Grand Lux sux. I do remember the décor was a bit over the top. I don't remember the food and service being good or bad but I never felt compelled to return.
haha you know why Grand Lux was created right? The Venetian in Las Vegas wanted to open with a Cheesecake Factory but CF thought they needed to create a new restaurant to match the glitz and glamor of Vegas, so GL was born! haha!
YES it is indeed over the top but i do like going there...although to be honest its more out of convenience too since my townhouse is directly behind it! haha! (but always good service and love sitting at the bar for usually no wait and quick service especially)

the windows are huge so if it is bright outside it is pretty bright inside especially if sitting in one of the awesome booths by the huge windows
-
wow great pics everyone!!! thank you for the awesome updates!!!
