Unlikely. Building certification and kitchen certification...over the Holidays. I hope Trace can bring the local aspect that Evans brought to Brennan's. Bringing fresh and heirloom produce to the table made Brennan's that much more on spot along with a great menu and the sharpest service.

Harris County Jail At 1301 Franklin St.
Porchman replied to Houston1stWordOnTheMoon's topic in Downtown
It's awful. I thought they were going to turn it into storage to replace the old warehouses on the next block west. -
What?! No mention of the fries? The fries are great with a gyro! They presented well, nonetheless. (Hungry now)

It seems like they're trying to create a considerable amount in that one block. It would be great if they could extend it to the next block south. They could replace the current surface lot with underground parking. Maybe the major foundations could take a stake in such a project. Ooo! They could rename it Deja Vu Green!

Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital Campus
Porchman replied to CoolBuddy06's topic in Other Houston Neighborhoods
Doubtful. They're all in high growth suburban areas. Besides, MH wasn't looking to sell. They've actually put a great deal into that campus. What will be interesting to see is how they market University Place. "And your senior facility offers you convenince to a County hospital".- 10 replies

Margaret M. Alkek-Williams Center For Dance At 601 Preston St.
Porchman replied to KinkaidAlum's topic in Downtown
Terrific! It's also pretty awesome that they are launching this when the economy is shaky. This a great addition to downtown and another visible symbol of the City's commitment to the arts. It is also a huge coup for one of the City's leading performing arts entities. A facility like this could be a great attraction for artistic talent. Bravi, HB!- 186 replies

Makes me not want to travel Hwy 6. Now that he's been in a drive-by, does that mean we should give him props on crime issues?

What the WHO is focused on now is determining why it proved so communicable and deadly in Mexico, particularly with healthy adults and not in the U.S. or other World1 nations where the virous has appeared. Simply put, they really don't know what they're dealing with. So, they have to take precautions. NPR had a piece about the investigation this morning.

That would be great. He has a great legacy with BCM, and, from what I understand, he had given (continues to give!) through patents of his inventions. We're not talking small numbers.
