    New $6 million facility to be opened at Marker 37 (kztv10.com) "It was recently announced that a large $6 million entertainment complex will be built just south of Marker 37 Marina on Padre Island. The facility will include multiple amenities such as a rooftop restaurant and bar, eight pickle ball courts, 20 corn hole setups, a splash pad, a giant movie screen, and a beautiful view of the Laguna Madre and Corpus Christi."

    Port of Galveston, MSC Cruises reach deal for 4th cruise terminal - Houston Business Journal (bizjournals.com) "The Port of Galveston's fourth cruise terminal complex will get underway soon thanks to a deal with Switzerland-based MSC Cruises. The agreement between the Galveston Wharves and MSC, which has been in the works since at least 2022, was signed this week. The project is slated to begin in early 2024 and be complete in time for the MSC Seascape to homeport at the new terminal in November 2025, Galveston Wharves said Feb. 6."

    Johnson Development starts construction on Kresston community - Houston Business Journal (bizjournals.com) "Johnson Development has started clearing the first 600 acres of the property, Kresston General Manager Virgil Yoakum said. The remaining 800 acres, part of which are in Grimes County, are under contract with Crown Ranch Development Ltd., and Johnson Development expects to close on the land later this year."

    Houston Methodist leases 75K-SF in TMC's new Helix Park campus - Houston Business Journal (bizjournals.com) "Houston Methodist signed a 75,800-square-foot lease at Dynamic One, one of four industry research buildings on the 37-acre Helix Park campus, for new research laboratory space.
