We exchanged a few messages 10 years ago about Bastrop on a post I made about the overpass opening on Hwy71 @ 304. a few weeks ago the overpass at 71 and 95 was completed. This means that there are no stops on 71 from I-10 all the way to 1209, the intersection just past Hwy21.
Also, Hwy183 from Bergstrom to 290 in under construction. They are building a multi lane tollway complete with bike lanes and free lanes. What a mess now, but it sure will be nice when it is completed.

All those idiots out there screaming and hollering for this dumb ass from kenya, all the while he and the rest of his minions are plotting and planning. God help us we have so many that can't think for themselves. Forrest Gump has been very busy.

Is NYC's official name New York or New York City?

I find it amusing that people continue to exit Studewood only to be forced right back onto I-10.

I've saved 10 mins on a trip to Dickinson in rush hour from Houston using the leap frog on the frontage road method. Me and another car left our departure location at the same time. They stayed on the mainlanes and arrived 10 mins later. Plus, with the way that most of Houston's freeways are now designed since the 80s, onramps and offramps don't require you to merge with mainlanes as you enter and exit. There are C/D lanes. You'll have to find another scapegoat, frontage road ...

University of Houston is now Carnegie's TIER ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UH, UT, A&M, and Rice are all at the same level. But were in the biggest city in the state, next stop, take over the BIG 12!!! GO COOGS!!

Almost, but not quite. "The designation by the Carnegie Foundation, a policy and research organization focused on higher education, doesn't mean UH is now officially a Tier One school. Other rankings consider criteria beyond the research portfolio."

Did anybody happen to see the B-17 bomber flying directly above the centerline of the North Loop yesterday morning? What's the occasion?

Try this: take a Kroger-brand pepperoni pizza and top it with chorizo, bacon, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and extra cheese. Drizzle with Sriracha sauce, dip in chorizo/bacon grease.
