  1. Took this on my walk back to the office after lunch.
  2. The impact on the skyline from Montrose is minimal but it's still nice. If only they would do something about the abandoned buildings...
  3. I'm definitely not a mole man. I try to avoid the tunnels unless it's a torrential downpour and I forgot my umbrella. It's like a claustrophobic mall food court down there. I don't get the appeal. I enjoy a little sun and don't mind a little sweat. </off topic rant>
  4. Doesn't it seem like that would flood even easier than the existing tunnels farther from the bayou which already flood a bit too easily?
  5. Took this while waiting for the light rail today.
  6. This is the way a bayou should be. The difference in this and most of the other bayous in town is like night and day.
  7. The rendering is a bit 'meh' to me, but I suppose it could be worse and infill is always good. But does anybody know what it will look like at street level? Will it have retail? What will it do to the streets cape at Main Street Square. That's what is most important to me. Sorry if this has already been asked/answered but a quick search of the thread didn't reveal much.
  8. Yeah I was impressed how tall it was. I know it's not as tall as the Miller Theater hill but it might still have interesting views if it lines up with a clear view towards the med center or downtown.
  9. Very interesting. I hope it happens. It's right around the corner from me!
  10. That pyramid thing is interesting. I wonder if it'll have an interesting view on top. This city is so flat that even a little hill can make a cool vantage point for photography.
  11. How far is afar? I can see it from Montrose (up on my roof).
  12. The wires in that photo remind me of some intersections in San Francisco where the wires almost blot out the sky. Only we have no train.
  13. I like that turret at the corner of the building. Gives it a bit of character compared to the typical apartments I've seen going up lately.
