After listening to cryboys fans talking trash about teams that didn't win as many games this year as the cowholes were lucky enuf to win...

That's the heart of why it was so nice to see the Cowgirls lose - their fans. I can't think of any other fan base in any other sport that talks trash the way the Cowgirl fans do. Even stranger is their complete inability to take it when it's done to them.

T.O. was a perfect example of that yesterday. When he's winning - it's all about end zone taunting, signing a football after a touchdown, spitting on other players, and celebration dances. When he looses - he puts on dark glasses and cries like a child.

They are the epitome of sore losers. It's too bad, because it takes the fun out of talking about football with them. For them, there are only two things to discuss in the world of football - talking trash about every other team and their fans - or - bringing up some other team's worse record after a Cowgirl loss.

Sad.

it's now time to suck it and realize that a 13-3 record doesn't get you any closer to the superbowl than a 8-8 record

That's it in a nutshell. The Cowgirls and the Texans - regardless of records - will be watching the Super Bowl on TV.

The sign on the store next to it says "Valley Fruit". Maybe that's a place to start, if anyone knows anything about old Houston businesses. Possibly some sort of records database or something.

Hi, first time poster, long time Yankees fan. Used to live there. Anyway, we're up 4 games in the standings from just a week ago - and that's before Roger came back. I'm optimistic. Although, truth be told, I'd rather we'd have spent the money on the bullpen instead of Roger's return. Man, I'm a die hard Yankees fan and even I thought the whole "they came and got me..." speech from the boss's private box during the 7th inning stretch was over the top. Come on Roger - just play baseball and leave the drama at home.

We bought in Westbury 8 years ago and our home now appraises for more than twice what we paid. Some of that is because we've upgraded\updated the house considerably, but most is just the neighborhood.
