  1. Hmmm not quite Citycentre...Hopefully it doesn't end up being a TGI Fridays and 3 nail salons.
  2. Here is some information that was emailed to me. Hopefully they don't mind that I am posting this. It sounds like the details could change somewhat but sounds like they will have a big selection of meats for sure.. The tentative opening date set for Facón is Thursday, March 27. The designers here are finishing up the website, so it should be up in the next week or two. I can send you sample menus for lunch, salad, tapas and catering for corporate events. The dinner/meat menu is still in development, but pricing for dinner is $48. Salad bar only for dinner is $25. For lunch, the meat selection is $32 and salad bar only for lunch is $22. The Facón meat menu includes: Tender Dry Rubbed Beef Ribs, Garlic Rubbed Top Round, Rosemary Chicken Legs, Center Cut Rrime Filet Mignon, Tender Caspian Sea Octopus, Marinated Flank Steak, Parmesan Crusted Chicken, Facón Barbecued Beef Brisket, Dry Rubbed Beef Rib Eye, Rosemary, Thyme Bottom Round, Seasoned Leg of Lamb, Coho Wild Alaskan Salmon, House Made Venison Sausage, Citrus Glazed Marinated Quail, Rosemary Seasoned Lamb Chops. Let me know if I can send you any menus or if you have any more questions. We look forward to seeing you at Facón!
  3. CityCentre is around 37 acres while this is 15 acres. I think it has potential to be a nice addition to the area, but I wouldn't expect it to literally be another Citycentre or Market Street on the same scale as those developments. Hopefully they sign some decent tenants and restaurants. 290 is lacking.
  4. They posted a menu. Looks pretty good to me - I will have to check this out. http://eatatallo.com/downloads/AlloMenu-101713.pdf
  5. Looks like this is just one of a few new restaurants coming to vintage park - pretty good list! http://impactnews.com/houston-metro/northwest-houston/vintage-parks-growth-reflects-thriving-center/
  6. http://impactnews.com/houston-metro/northwest-houston/new-french-restaurant-concept-to-open-in-vintage-park/
  7. Here's a few I wouldn't mind seeing if someone wants to put a request out on behalf of my lazy butt: - Cheesecake Factory - Houstons - Rockbottom Brewery - Escalantes - Yardhouse - EZs - Two Rows - Houlihans - Cyclone Anayas - The Keg - Grotto - Mi Concina
  8. Went there tonight. I have to say, I'm pretty critical and I was impressed! Not bad!
  9. Is this place ever going to open? It's been "scheduled" to open several months in a row now. When I've been in Vintage Park recently, it doesn't even look like anyone is working on the place and there's very little info on their websites other than they are opening soon (which it has said forever). If they are this well managed, I wonder if they will last long once they open anyway... Anyway, just curious if anyone knows anything about this.
  10. Saw a new restaurant added to the Vintage Park website, Strata.. Strata Restaurant and Bar is an upscale casual concept serving contemporary American cuisine without the fine dining prices. Scheduled to open in early November, Strata brings the culinary artistry of Chef John Ly and his team to the Vintage Park Shopping Center. Featuring an extensive and affordable wine list and high quality ingredients, Strata pleases the pallet as well as the pocketbook. Intimate seating and two private dining rooms provide guests with a memorable dining experience for special occasions or just a great meal with friends and family. A spacious patio area and lively bar makes Strata a perfect spot to enjoy Happy Hour or Sunday brunch.
  11. Also either because of the grand opening or because they read my post on another topic complaining about their website (probably the former), the website has been updated a lot since then... http://www.pelipeli.com/
  12. It is. The restaurant was originally listed as "Peri-Peri" on the Vintage Park website when it was first announced and underwent a name change (assuming copyright related) a month later to Peli-Peli...
  13. I understand Peli-peli opened yesterday. I went inside the week before opening and the restaurant itself was really cool. However, the menu looked a little different and in many places it keeps talking about these peli-peli spices and how great the chicken and dishes cooked in these spices supposedly are. I'm pretty sure Peli-Peli will either be a big hit or a big disaster. I was wondering if anyone has actually tried the food there yet and what they thought...
  14. Peli Peli - You'd think for a restaurant opening in a matter of days the guy could put together a little more informative website... There's nothing on it except for the logo and it's been that way for probably a year.
  15. There was a note in the paper that a which which would be going in Vintage Park. Actually Newquest was the listed agent, so I think it will go in the HEB section of Vintage Park. Kind of like Potbelly but with a lot more sandwich options... http://www.whichwich.com/
  16. Actually, despite a press release saying they were opening, there was a note on the door and I guess they aren't actually open quite yet.
  17. Mia Bella is now open. http://www.bizjournals.com/houston/stories...02/daily15.html
  18. There's also highlighted article entitled "Houston We have No Problems" which is not really accurate anymore.
  19. Another Bank? I think there are more banks at Vintage Park than stores and restaurants combined...
  20. Looks like they cleared out some trees right behind the Vintage Park sign right at the corner of 249 and Louetta and look like they are laying some foundation tereh. Anyone have any idea what this might be?
  21. We went by Brix Wine Cellars a couple of weeks ago and liked it.
  22. I know I've ripped on Cheeburger Cheeburger a few times, but I haven't actually tried it... Has anyone been?
