Interesting fact. Cockroaches must be the beyond ugly duckling. Another random fact: Cockroaches are close to my feet, when I smash them, but they aren't related to my feet!

It COULD be a nighthawk, but it could also be that: 1. A hell of a lot of frogs are invading the United States, must be some sort of terrorist plot, who knows. -OR- 2. Aliens are scouting a couple of you to take back to their space ship, they talk to me quite often. Muaha.

Wow +, that is a really beautiful and unique tower. I hope that it is built! And is that faint line above the building a spire?

GreenStreet: Mixed-Use Development At 1201 Fannin St.
Talbot replied to MontroseNeighborhoodCafe's topic in Downtown
Yes, thanks for checking, but i still have hope for this project. I feel that it is different than the Shamrock and I still think it will be built, we just need to have some patience. -
I don't know, good question. They probably do though, so that the attendee's can get a little snack or breackfast before or after the service. But thats just my guess.

Alright, thanks. It makes sense to have them both on both sides of the pulpit or one on one side of the church and one on the other side of the church. And when I was younger, I used to go with my mom, brother, and my moms ex-boyfriend. But now that I am older and I used to have to work on sundays and also my mom and her ex bf broke up we stopped going to church quite a bit.
-
yes there is. They were talking about the waterfalls on one of the news channels, and I heard that the church has 2 waterfalls, though I am not sure where the second one is.

I know that they needed it to fit all of their attendee's, but I personally don't like it. It looks to artificial and doesn't look homely and welcoming like a church normally would.

Yeah, that would be great if another developer competed with Wulfe right across the street for something like this project. Can't wait to see what happens with that.

Houston Potential Projects That Were Never Built
Talbot replied to Subdude's topic in Houston Neverbuilt
It's a shame really how many good things this city has passed up and chosen the ugly crap over just to take the easy way of doing things. -

yup, happy fourth. And lets hope all these dates don't mean another Shamrock, although this project seems a lot more organized, so we can only hope. -
South Main looks totally different now than what it did back then. It's hard to believe that there was that much open land.

Thanks for the site Red, that's pretty interesting? I wonder what it feels like? I assume they polish it all up to feel like regular wood flooring?

Man too bad about the loading docks facing the streets, too bad they won't have some sort of alley for that sort off stuff. Hopefully it doesn't ruin the project. -

I like the Main entrance, or so it seems its the main entrance, with the big lobby like circle with stairs going up from 2 sides. -

Very awesome news about the Virgin Store it would be cool to have one and along with Sakowitz, it should boost DT retail a bit. -

B*tch! I live in a trash can! Ha Anyway, its quite sad now how much money really does rule now, it's not about the quality of the city, its about who has the deepest pockets.

I was actually quite shocked about Tampa, I think I would rather lose to Atlanta, but Tampa Bay? Wow.
