I heard about the Jay-Z prices a while back, they are ridiculous! I was hoping to get some but too many other things I am worried about atm. Oh well. I hope it's a good concert for that price.
But, on a side note, I am very excited for the opening!

Sounds interesting. I'll have to keep an eye on this. Thanks for sharing.

Am I the only one that doesn't mind the look of it? Id much rather have that establishment than have some others that Houston is known for.

Um.....doggy paddle? There is a reason they call it that.
Yeah I know. Turns out I was busy that day anyway. But it would have been fun.

I love HDR. It looks awesome.

I saw a Krystle Burger in San Antonio yesterday when we were there after getting back from California.
But those west coast chains are goood. But I have seen Taco Buenos here.

I have been to numerous events around discovery green also, but never inside the park. Well that will change this weekend. Dock Dogs is going to be there and we are going to check it out. I don't know if everyone know what it is, but it's basically a big air competition for dogs jumping from a dock into a pond. I think it is open to all dogs. Check it out here dockdogs.com
I can't wait to walk around and grab a burger. Also, I think the ice skating in the winter will be one of the coolest things you can do in Houston. They could really make it a destination if they have a "North Pole" village set-up and sell hot chocolate, have carolers, and such. Can't wait to bring my daughter, though she needs to start walking first...
I heard about Dock Dogs in the Houston Downtown Happenings newsletter. I wanted to take my dog there because she jumps hella high. I am just nervous of her jumping into a pond, since shes never swam before. Although, I am probably just paranoid and I am sure she could swim just fine.

Great photos. It looks like a fun park.

Great pictures Boris!

I wonder if they have kids? And if the kids climb it at night like they do the water tower in that 70's show?

I love hatchbacks, Although I have a Mazda 6, my cousin owns a Mazda 3 5 door and it is a great looking car.

I am working for da man, and at the same time I wanna be da man.

Alot of times they build seperate buildings for the younger kids anyway. So chances are they may hardly come into contact during the course of a normal school day.

Great pics. I also love that building so very much.

That guy is very lucky to have not been seriously injured or killed. Thankfully it won't slow construction much.

I would charge them a fee just to get close to it, and then another fee for catching it.

For some reason I was thinking that Discovery Tower was the name of the Fingers Development.

What happens to the doctor with the inflated ego who gets assigned to the office with the skinny window? We had a manager in our company who complained that the grass outside of his window was dead and brown while the office down the way had nice green grass.
I just noticed the skinny windows after you posted that. I hope it is just a flaw on the rendering, if not then... .

The front veiw isn't so impressive, but the right veiw of the building is a lot better.

If it wasn't for the hotel plans then it probably would most definately be demolished unfortunately.

Thats awesome, it's about time they build those in massive amounts instead of those ugly new cookie cutter houses. 115 eh?

Those are some great looking pictures. TMC is one of the best looking areas of Houston IMO.
