Talbot replied to TowerSpotter's topic in Downtown
It is exciting to hear that DT Houston reminds him of Chicago 20 years ago. I hope all of the development continues well into the future.- 911 replies

I have gotten a lot of flak for saying this, but I think Schaub is the next Mark Sanchez and honestly I believe he needs to go. He is too conservative and does not move around in the pocket.. the only place he moves is backwards (like last game one play he went back almost half the field!). Also, I think we should do more passing plays on 1st and 2nd down and running plays when we are closer to the 1st down, although it is hard to trust Schaub lately with passing plays.

Like some of the comments made in the chron article, I really wish we could somehow get a mini HEB or something that sells everyday items for the people that live downtown. It's nice to have these upscale places downtown but I think the HEB would add a little more traffic to the area which might entice people to stop into these fancier places.

Great set, sorry I can't tell if on the "meth house" pictures if those are windows at the bottom? If it has no windows, then I would go crazy being held up in there.. although I guess if that's the case then it would certainly be a good meth house..

I would like to see how they make it pedestrian friendly with parking in the front, but we shall see.

It sure has been a long time! The site has been through some good and bad times, but Editor has always maintained it very well! I am very proud to be a member! I still remember when it was hacked a long time ago, and am thankful that it was brought back to life!

GreenStreet: Mixed-Use Development At 1201 Fannin St.
Talbot replied to MontroseNeighborhoodCafe's topic in Downtown
Whenever I go downtown, I always see heavy police presence, so I am not worried about being down there. -
I want to try this one day, I should go check it out soon.

Aww man! That is very unfortunate, I love the Byzantine Fresco Chapel. It's understandable why they want it returned, but sucks for us.
