    Saw this the other day, thought maybe Warehouse live or whoever owns that entire building might buy it for more parking, they already been using it for "valet" on show nights it looks like, and the one across the street from it.

    Been a lot more action in recent week or two. some concrete work inside and out front. They've made sunk-in doorways in a couple of places. Also more wiring and starting the setup for i guess stucco.

    So weird to see how fast they dropped that Amegy parking garage.

    Looks like they might be getting ready to start the facade.

    Lots of jackhammer action the last two weeks or so... on the far side of this picture new conduit is going up for electrical. It appears they have also started framing some of the windows to recieve glass soon. After appearing stalled for a bit there is action pretty much daily again now.

    Yeah, I wish whoever is running all these other places with trespassing permits up would do the same for el expresso.. they've pretty much started back up in front of there, can watch the dealers dealing from my balcony as HPD just rolls by. 🤷‍♂️

    that side still hasn't worked so far. not sure if they plan to fix it. in other news the yoga shop, part of it, is now a tattoo parlor. very skelton look to it for now but keeps building out every time i walk the dog by there.

    There seems to have been some slow down in work since the cinder blocks got put in.. and not sure what happened to the top but looks like mold almost or maybe just water but its definitely a dark color and its all the spots they had repaired before they put the white tiles down. I'm merely a curious observer of the goings on in my hood not an architect so forgive my ignorance heh :D Also seems to be a new FOR LEASE sign put up today.. wasn't this the original folks that had it first? Has something fallen through?

    Nah it seemed quiet over there last night.. nobody even hanging around the fence at all really.

    Nice. I figured as much :D Wasn't sure though because they definitely haven't enforced any trespassing so far on that building beyond boarding up the windows. Excited to see what unfolds on these blocks. I wonder if my landlord knows the person, he mentioned early this year that a person he knew was buying up the blocks, the old BofA building, etc. but staying quiet about it.

    Much appreciated. We still have the Elevated for now.. still plenty of horns to be heard. But man, when people park to let folks out and a bus runs up on them, 12 noon or 4AM it doesn't matter, they just basically lean into the horn and don't stop until they move. They aren't messing around, its not even closed yet, they got paper on the windows... anyone have any clue who is already under contract for the place? I though greyhound had it till Oct 2024... nice surprise, but I guess they got let out early?

    The start of the final day of obnoxious horn honking by the busses... its like a dream. Been here for 12 years.. never thought i would see the day.

    Looked this morning and it doesn't appear its lit up on the other side. Curious if they will keep the clock or do something else. Also wonder if they're gonna make it spin again or not.

    Was going to post this as well. I guess soon they'll start with the facade, they haven't done much but some concrete work inside lately. Maybe A/C units soon.

    Thanks, sorry, yeah I am bad at reading :( So within what seems like a weekend, they removed all the awnings, TVs, woodwork from outside and its just the square building but there is a sign on the door for Stick Talk, so looking forward to the opening :D

    I'm still convinced this location is just a money laundering operation... .. Did Joe's place ever even open before they left? The only people I ever saw there was the guy living in his car i guess doing security... been a weird spot since Dane's left.

    looks like some insulation maybe about to be laid down and more roof patching going on.

    Williamsburg was who had the sign on before this new company Hunington... not sure if they are related companies since they both have same brochure...
