I am talking about the metrorapid system.The university line should've been the first one built before the silver line.It was going to be light rail but politics and money changed the plans.

The university line should’ve been built first and then the rest of the lines added after since it was supposed to be the backbone of the metrorapid system.

Whatever happened to the electric buses we where going to get? Have they been delivered or are they testing them? -
And is the metrorail going to be extended to shepherd park and ride?I haven’t seen metro lately say anything about that and the extensions to hobby airport.

Didn’t amtrak get several billions of the infrastructure law?They could use that money and revive the SA to Austin rail project too.Texas needs regional rail.

Also why doesn’t metro make a brt route on bellaire and I remember when the metro next plan was approved a “signature” service for westheimer was approved but now they have reduced it to a “boost” corridor.

Westheimer should at least get a quickline.I've taken the 82 from downtown to the beltway it easily takes up more than an hour.Metro had mentioned a signature bus for the westheimer, but ended up with a boost corridor.But only for part of the route.

What metro needs to do is make the metro rail and bus more secure.Ive been harrased by panhandlers for money and they wreak of urine and beer.Hopefully metro takes serious measures after these serious incidents these past months.
