Proposed timeline of work. https://www.houstonchronicle.com/news/houston-texas/transportation/article/harris-county-i-45-rebuilding-project-houston-18073985.php#photo-23784922 "the first project considered part of the larger rebuild is an $86.1 million project to upgrade drainage through EaDo, just east of Interstate 69 between I-45 south of downtown and Buffalo Bayou"
  2. Sounds like they are planning to open this location this summer. I've been to the Seattle-area locations. Don't think they are as good as Din Tai Fung but still a welcome addition to this area. https://houston.culturemap.com/news/restaurants-bars/dough-zone-chinese-restaurant-soup-dumpling-midtown-galleria-1/ "A representative tells CultureMap that Dough Zone has leased the former Ibiza space in Midtown (2450 Louisiana St.) for a restaurant that will open this summer"

  4. The most recent Looped In podcast interviewed the Midway executive overseeing the development. "We sit down with Midway vice president Anna Deans to discuss how Midway’s game-changing project will start to transform how Houstonians interact with this part of Buffalo Bayou and how the project could spark further changes in the East End. Deans also gives us all the updates and details on what’s next for East River, one of the most highly anticipated real estate developments underway in Houston now." https://omny.fm/shows/looped-in/a-behind-the-scenes-look-at-east-river-one-of-hous

  7. Playground addition has been completed and is opened to public. Electrical/lighting improvements still in progress.
  8. Very exciting, really hope they choose Houston. Was just at the Sante Fe Meow Wolff last month and it was a lot of fun! Think it would be a great addition here for both locals and tourists.

  13. Found this in recent Midtown MRA meeting. Sounds like Midtown and Montrose are planning to join Upper Kirby in applying for grant funding for W Alabama reconstruction along the entire corridor. Would be amazing if they can get it done. see @ 1:16:09
  14. @LuminareI haven't been able to find site plan. Found this in the 11/2021 Midtown MRA meeting minutes. Updates about Baldwin @1:00:03. Just waiting on a few city permits to begin. Walked through park again today and fencing appears to be fully up. Would expect them to start soon.
  15. Wrapping trees and fencing going up.
  16. They have been open for a couple weeks now. Making most of their bread on-site which is nice to see. Hope they do well!
  17. Looks like planning some improvements to playground area. I've also noticed stakes placed around walking path, wondering if they are planning lighting additions.
