    Looking at all the pictures in the flyer it appears they found issues that required major demolition of the foundation throughout the building. Maybe some sort of conflict with the contractor, etc.????

    Our family stayed at the Tidelands in 1963, after returning to Houston from a 5 year stay in Asia.......before we moved into our home.

    A beautiful cemetery....we were there a few months ago for a family funeral.

    I think the the "classic" furniture works well.....as mid-century furniture would also.

    That doesn't look like the house in the old photo....if it is, it must had some significant changes made to it!

    Excellent article...I graduated from St.Thomas in 1968 and my wife and I lived on West Main from 1970 to 1973.
