Have you ever looked at the climate of Minneapolis? They hosted a Super Bowl after the New York game. There goes that argument. Sure the NFL may prefer warmer climates or domes, but if they could host the Super Bowl in one of the most historic stadiums, they would. If Soldier field had more than 12 seats they'd have hosted one too.

So in six years NRG went from hosting the Super Bowl, to being so decrepit it can't play host to big games? Why will no one give examples of what's so wrong with it? I've only been a handful of times, but I didn't find it to be a poor stadium. Maybe its cuz I'm from the north where I grew up going to Lambeau Field, which by the way, doesn't have on field suits, or cabanas, or crazy concessions, yet is always hailed as one of the best places to watch a football game. The only reason it can't host a Super Bowl is because the city/metro is quite small and cannot support the circus that comes with the Super Bowl. NRG is fine, people are just caught up in getting the newest shiny $5 billion waste of money.

I, for one, hope this continues on Shepherd. We could have The Pizza Place, The Liquor Store, The Car Shop. The possibilities are endless!

You should bring it up in the NHHIP thread. But you should also probably give up on stopping it. It's happening and you should just start accepting it.

I was only in it when the USWNT was here a summer or two ago, and I sweat through everything just sitting there. It was brutal. There are big ass fans up under the awning, but I couldn't feel them towards the bottom of the upper level.

Where would the funds come from? I feel like the lots would cost too much to buy and develop, and who would want to live there? Who would want to visit? The 12 Texans fans sure aren't enough to make it worthwhile. Would they ditch the lots for the rodeo? I don't see it as a popular idea, at least right now, but I'm wrong about a lot

You could ask the poster, but the restraining order prohibits that doesn't it? -
I was here on St. Patrick's day. It's nice, but since it was drunken Irish day it was a bit nuts. I feel like this would do better as a quieter chill spot.

As a relative newbie to a large metro area and these projects, what is the likelihood the other phases get built? I feel like we have many multi phase projects going where we are just sitting in the first phase. I can really only think of this and Regent Square as examples.

Can they change the water color in the renders to brown so I can get a good feel for how this will look?

Good. B sucks. Fix A while they're at it too! In all seriousness, A and B suck. The master plan on the airport website shows a ton of potential solutions going forward, including new remote terminals and additional runways.

Southwest has sucked for years now and I often find fares the same or cheaper on a real airline. I honestly don't know why people still fly them with all the issues they've been having recently. They will no doubt survive though, as they move a ton of people and have a large market share of the US domestic air travel.
