yea i hope that they start buildng more shopping and stores to shop off main to acomodate this pavilon thing once it opens and kind of turn it into like a 16th strt like mall in Denver does anyone know if the pavilon in denver mushrooomed the deveopment off 16th street mall because the way i see it houston has way more comming to help the pavilions in houston more than denver like the downtown park & park tower.

this topic should be merfged with teh exissting Bufalo Bayou thread. I think that it would he good if they put cement at bottom of the bayou near downtown and THat way they could die the water blue and maKe it look more apealing. With tHe bayou having mud at the bottom like it is now, the wtaer will stay brown. THey could drain the wateer and lay the cement and fill back up and it would apear more cleanner.

does anyone know why the reliant enrgy plaza isnt lit up anymore? Now i'm curious?

i was just wondering, did they stop the lighting of the reliant energy building at night? (The building that changes colors). I've driven through downtown at night and notice it hasn't been lit lately. It's a shame, because the christmas lit buildings never miss a night.

i agre it wil more like be a suburbin stile CVS i find it depresing that Houston cant get the urbin/pedistrian consept down they need to increse residnt pop and then things like pedistrian stiles will come. the mistake houston make was jacking up the price in midtown before it had the strong residint base to suport. now we have a lifeliss downtown. i'm still afrade the houston pavilion wont go becus its not showin good signs.

i sorry 2 say but houston pavili not looking so promise. i would hate to see the projet be cancel but i just cant help be skpticle due to track record. anyone know why they havent break ground yiet?.

sense my other topic was closed, i'll ask the question here. when if ever is the pavilon gona git start? its already the end of may. i thought that it was suppose 2 break ground so is this another disapoint for houston? anyone with some info would really be appereciate.
