  1. Broadstone Lakes at Post Oak - 248 Units http://www.smartapartmentdata.com/share/Reports/Houston_Construction.pdf
  2. Does anyone know what is being done with the old school in Midtown at Cleveland/Victor/Cushing/Wilson?
  3. The really need more shade on the Tree House deck at The Grove. Three umbrellas isn't near enough! What about a pergola with misting fans?
  4. Primary term of five years, with five options to renew for additional 5-year terms.
  5. A local investment group recently purchased the entire corner.
  6. Why is Azorim selling their Galleria property (Post Oak & Richmond)? I thought they were going to do a condo/commercial development there.
  7. I thought this was going to be moved to the Intermodal Terminal...
  8. I haven't been inside an apartment at Camden yet, but the exterior layout of the buildings is nice. It has a non-complex feel to it. The pool area is really nice too. I like the convenience of walking the couple of blocks to Midtown to eat or have a drink with friends. With the addition of Camden and The Edge, the W Gray & Bagby area is really changing.
  9. I would look at the new Camden City Centre. It's brand new and a great location if you work downtown. You could walk to work. I live in an Urban Loft right around the corner and love the proximity to downtown and midtown.
  10. I agree. I walked over after dinner one night last week. It has one of the nicest apartment pools I've seen in town.
  11. Christus Health bought the entire block in December.
  12. Stayed at ZaZa last night and got a walk through of the Magnificent Seven Suites. The interior of the hotel is gorgeous, and the suites are simply amazing. I loved the 42" flat-screen in my room with tons of HD channels. The entire staff was very polite and looked great. I would say the best part was soaking tub on the balcony of the Tycoon Suite overlooking Hermann Park. Houston has never seen anything like ZaZa!
  13. It appears the building is too far gone to be saved. But with its close proximity to the new Camden complex and EDGE condos, it would be a great location for just such place.
  14. No. This is the former church at the corner of Andrews and Crosby (visible from I-45). A fire destroyed most of the structure, leaving only the outside walls. After the fire, braces where erected to support the walls. However, the charred remains were left inside. The structure has no roof whatsoever, and without the support braces, the remaining walls would collapse. Here is an aerial: http://maps.live.com/default.aspx?v=2&..._&encType=1
