Grubbs Volvo Cars Central Houston At 7620 Washington Ave.
BigRed replied to CrockpotandGravel's topic in The Heights
So as a Grubb Volvo client it has been hard to see the work for a while even though it was going hot and heavy for at least 6 months, but finally this week you can now see inside and obviously outside and its really well done. They are truly showcasing an old building and doing some awesome work.- 18 replies

So freaking excited about this. Also, denying a liquor license to a business on White Oak is silly - it’s a dang bar and restaurant district now. Hoping the opposition has calmed a bit.- 51 replies

I am so happy this park is getting some much needed love. Such a great space.

Very excited for this - love me some Boomtown and Ten Fold but I think more is better!

Well said!

I am so excited for this development!

Totally agree - I think this place needs a coffee shop and maybe a wine shop with a bigger focus on attracting families - similar to Stomping Grounds. I think there is so much potential here and it will eventually find a groove. Sunset Heights is just becoming super young family oriented and I think this spot needs to embrace it.

What a tragic use of the land.

WILD - as Milk + Sugar is also opening up on Shepherd and 13th this weekend... over in the Heights Forum at 1324 N Shepherd Dr Suite 110, Houston, TX 77008, United States Lotta good ice cream within a mile of this area. Look out fried chicken... ice cream is coming for ya! -
Wish I could say this was a bummer but everything that has been at this spot has been less than good and the build outs of the space have been tragic. Hoping someone with a bit more experience and polish can get this land and do something of value with it.

As a close by neighbor I am so excited for this. Looks lovely and hoping it does well - the last spot always gave off money laundering front. It was . wine and reheating of frozen pizzas.
-
Yeah this is a big get!

I loved Revival so much but the quality and food was never good when the new owners took over and made this concept. Its a shame as its a great location.

Honestly the food that Anthony turns out at Rudyards is sooo good. And his pizza delivery platform and hot dogs are also damn good. This is great news!
