West Belt Project - Underpasses In District H & I Railroads
JBTX replied to hindesky's topic in Traffic and Transportation
Navigation is, yes. And you can take a quick right off Commerce to go under the Navigation underpass. I too was confused by this being listed here. -

I hope everyone bikes/takes the bus over. I imagine the parking will be absolute hell. -

$100k/median household income, yes. As much as I love it here in East End we are definitely not the TJ target area.

My understanding re: sewer smell is that the sewage mains are right under Clinton. Personally, I've never smelled it *all the time,* just some times, but I'm not there too often. Interestingly myself and a few coworkers all live within a half mile of each other. Two of us are south of the bayou (including one right on the south bank), one is north. The guy on the north side smells it often too.

The Plant At Harrisburg: 3401 Harrisburg Blvd.
JBTX replied to Urbannizer's topic in EaDo, the East End, and East Houston
So strange. It only recently opened and opened to so many good reviews, yet every time I tried to go, it seemed to be closed (even during listed operating hours). I wonder what happened.- 117 replies

I have not, but it seems to be a chain as there is one right smack in the Med Center too. But as the old rule goes, if you don't see smoke coming from your BBQ joint, stay away...

I suspect the "infamous fence" is going to be a privacy wall/sound barrier against the light rail. That or to keep kids from playing along the rail line.

Jensen And Navigation Blvd. Roundabout
JBTX replied to Mr.Clean19's topic in Traffic and Transportation
The double roundabouts off i45 and 1375 en route to Sam Houston National Forest are always a trip. They are just so random and seemingly out of place. Love em.
