  1. I am really excited for this development although I wish we could get one of those towers in the previous renderings.
  2. Super excited for this development, Todd making some big time moves over the last couple of years. Freaking love HEB.
  3. Smart investment though in my opinion, fingers crossed that both developments are built Close to their initial renderings. This could spur much more investment in other neighborhoods when these developments turn out to be highly successful.
  4. I wish screening garages would become the standard. We have real use for it here in Houston as well as it would help keep temperatures down.
  5. If the first renderings are true for the scale of the high rise and the newest render is true for the quality of the entire building I think it will be a knockout.
  6. Freeway realignments happen all the time - it’s called development
  7. I feel that because this project has an architectural component like it has that people have for some reason forgot what the whole purpose is.
  8. I wish they could add some green space on top of the galleria with some restaurant/bars and some entertainment.
  9. Yeah no thanks I feel like you’re too picky
  10. There is a lot more to the hypothetical plan than a stand alone observation tower. Nothing wrong with left field either.
  11. I believe the best place to erect an observation tower would be where the Estates at Memorial Heights Apartments are currently located, If they put METRORail on Washington headed towards bullet train station from downtown. The tower would be located just across the bayou from the Ismaili Center and in between Lower Heights district and Regent Square with undindered views of downtown and all the glory of Buffalo Bayou. Not to mention capture every skyline and even the new beltway bridge.
  12. I think they should take one of the parking lots and turn it into a park with a mix use residential high rise.
  13. I like UT expanding, its great for the city, I like A&M expanding too but both on the medical side. Both are doing so. The PUF money should go to UH in some kind of major deal like this, makes more sense to me since it is the public university in(of) Houston.
