  1. “So, supposing we hit the body with a tremendous — whether it's ultraviolet or just very powerful light — and I think you said that that hasn't been checked, but you're going to test it. And then I said, supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way, and I think you said you're going to test that, too. It sounds interesting. And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning. Because you see it gets in the lungs, and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. So it would be interesting to check that.”
  2. Outta sight! It's like a taller, brighter, flatter, reversed outward Pennzoil Tower. Nice work, Hines.
  3. My God! Imagine how people who hate everything in Houston now musta felt back then.
  4. Can you believe that we actually once lived like THIS!! 🤮 Never forget where you came from, but YUCK! Welcome to fabulousness, Houston! One block at a time.
  5. The inner core looks so safe. Is this building also a nuclear bomb shelter?
  6. Now that's what I'm talking about! Stay away from him, girls. He's mine!
  7. Nonsense. It's hard not to make an erection joke every once in a while on a forum about skyscrapers. What's the prob anyway. All buildings have to be erected don't they? I think a 30 story building would be extremely hot and sexy on that block.
  8. How about a 30 story erection? How's that for a tribute to what made Montrose so popular for all these years.
  9. Don't worry. In Houston, everything is temporary. Even the permanent stuff.
  10. Parking Lot, 5 Weed Patch, 3 Parking Lot wins. Plus it's so urban! Ugly urban, but urban. Parking lot puts the urb in urban. Weed Patch makes me sneeze, has snakes and gets mud in my car. Remember when everybody thought this was going to look like Victory Park? Now we are arguing about whether weed patches are better than parking lots. I'm so disappointed in this project that I don't even care about it anymore. Thank Christ for Regent Square and Autry Park and East River.
  11. Play nice and accept? O.k. But this advice comes from the same guy who laughed when I said that any city would be lucky to get this beautiful 58-story building. Mod or Troll? I can't tell anymore. Have fun hating.
  12. Can I be a moderator? I want to be in control of the Houston Bashing department instead of Montrose1100. He's lazy and weird.
  13. Return it back to 3ft width? Does this have something to do with punishing pedestrians? I'm so glad no one ever politicized air conditioning or none of us would even be here.
  14. Love the design of the proposed 58 story skyscraper. Don't care if anyone calls it dated or not. Any city on earth would be lucky to have it.
  15. The cement strip is just a little wider than the utility pole. That's obviously a scenic bike path. Duh. Keep Houston Odd.
