    Word on the street is Kohn Pedersen Fox is the design architect.

    I believe this is a second building that is also part of the project. Looks to be located on the surface lot just north of Uchi. Word on the street is the second and third floors will house the Freed-Montrose Public Library. This seems to be confirmed in the rendering, if you look closely there appears to be book shelves in both floors.

    Looks like this one has officially topped out, concrete pump was being lifted down this morning.

    Honestly I'm seeing a lot of duplicated architecture, seems to me like they are mostly placeholders to fill in the surrounding context. I would guess these parcels haven't been thoroughly developed/ designed yet.

    If you want to see this model in person, it's on display in the Mies van der Rhoe wing of the museum.

    I live in the apartments one block north of the Fiesta and my Landlord recently sold to Rice as well. He also said the community artist collective and one other apartment building on that block had sold to Rice although I don't know for sure if that is true.

    The area around Ensemble Station is starting to feel very urban with this and the other recent developments going up.

    It's not exactly the same, and it primarily goes over the East River, but NYC has the Roosevelt Island Tramway.
