When the word "repave" is used I'm always curious as to COH mea ns? Concrete or black top?
For the price and timeframe of the project it'll most likely be asphalt paving.

Do we know the impacts on the Houston Ave bridge yet, such as when they will begin dismantling and how long it will take to rebuild?
In the schematics of the project it looks like they will rebuild the bridge but I-10 will flyover Houston Ave now.

One bright side is the Houston avenue bridge won't be struck anymore.

Any updates on the Lululemon construction?

This project was really just an attempted temporary fix until the major freeway rebuild in a few years.

Two tower cranes actually.

This project is moving along nicely. Tower crane base installed. Sorry I couldn't snap any pictures it was too dark. I'll get some update pictures this weekend.

From the last set of exterior photos it looks like there is still plywood on the balconies.
Slow and steady with this development.

I think it will look quite nice. This with 1 Riva Row and the Mall development. The Woodlands will have a mini boom.

Seems like a tad bit dramatic but okay.

This is an architecture forum that has a focus on design and I'd rather take a neighborhood park over this eyesore.
Ehhh good infill development lmao

I'll take this tower over a surface lot any day.

The new brick paved intersection on Allen parkway adds a nice touch to the development.

This project is starting to frustrate me. I know they're probably doing a ton of inside progress but I feel the balconies should have the wood panels removed by now.

This is a long overdue project. The portion of freeway needs to brought into the 21st century. I also wish they could rebuild the I-45/I-610 interchange as well. This section is also missing large chunks of unfinished feeders roads.

@wxmanif you're saying Houston is your home have some pride in it. Pretty pessimistic comments, they're far far worse cities to live in the us imo. I think Houston has a great multi cultural feel and a dominating presence in world headquarters for company's.

Is it just going to dump onto Griggs and Long? Is the freeway going to back up all the way to downtown when there's a train?
35 is going to have a direct connector interchange with 610.
