  1. It's all the same development, will be all shopping center from there northwest to ElDorado. ... Dick's sporting goods, Maggiano's restraurant, On the Border, Mimi's cafe, Johnny Carino's, I think thats about all that is being designed now, or that I am confident is going in.
  2. I think something like this will be more effective. Bourn Pence Tejada Berkman Lee Wigginton Matsui Towles
  3. Ahh waiting for this one. The majical IT factor. The Titans defense is what wins games for them. ala the Bears in spite of Rex Grossman. Pacman Jones won more games last year for them than VY. I do think Jeff Fisher and Norm Chow are some of the best at preparing their teams for Sunday. If Only we had that kind of effort here. Go Texans.
  4. hotel parador The title of this post caught my eye. This was the name of one of the hotel I stayed at in Costa Rica. Same type of achitecture, beautiful place.
  5. I got it off the Cinco Ranch property owners website. I think you have to have an account to log on to it. If you PM me your email. I could email it to you. Or I suppose I could try and make it bigger and re-post it. It is a pdf file.
  6. I haven't seen this posted on here. I really like the potential for this development. Very nice looking.
  7. A home depot will be built at the intersection of Eldorado Blvd. and I-45 on the northbound side. one complete shopping center has been designed and planned for 10 years now on the northbound side of I-45 between Bay Area & Eldorado.
  8. and Wachovia and Amegy banks, a pad site for a footprint equal to 20,338 SF
  9. Are you saying there is no scientific proof of second hand smoke?
  10. Correct me if I'm wrong, the bar owners will be fined if someone is smoking in there establishment. What will be the cost to the bar? Who will hand out these citations? Health inspectors? Meter maids?
  11. this is unconfirmed and now denied by McCardell. they did sign the punter though. per rotoworld.com Texans released RB Darius Walker, FB Cory Anderson, G Atlas Herrion, C Enoka Lucas, CB Derrick Roberson, P Eric Wilbur, and LB Zac Woodfin. Texans signed P Matt Turk.
  12. and funny that on the other end of westheimer it's the polar opposite. Unwalkable stripcenters full of useless shops that for the life of me I don't know how they stay afloat, carwashes, pawn shops, gas stations, and horrible chinese buffets.
  13. I'm still wearing my Biggio jersey today!! It was an awesome experiance at the game last night! Something I'll never see again I'm sure!
  14. there is West Oaks mall for all that want that type of thing
  15. maybe every one ran away in fear when they saw you and your partner coming. seriously though i have always seen plenty of people there when i go by, especially on the weekends.
  16. anyone here have personal experiance with an abortion choice?
  17. 1. the cardinals got swept too. and even though they were playing the mets, they scored 2 runs in the series. 2. our starting pitching has looked great to pretty good so far.
  18. you're right he may be worse. and this unknown is what bothers me. his draft gradeout puts him below Carr he was drafted in the third round and has been a backup for two years. generally i don't mind the swap at the spot but they now have signed him to a fat contract on potential and named him to be a starter. this is equivilent with how you treat a first round draft pick QB. combined with how they let Carr go as a favor to him is not good business. Shaubie has to take this team to the playoffs immediately. and they should be immediatelly better, the team went 6-7 in their last 13 games and were close to winning 2 more.
  19. I would reccomend staying in KISD and for that matter zoned to the schools south of I-10 if possible
  20. then why are you calling for david carrs head? those games for the most part were lost because defense breakdowns as with most of our losses. If we had better options then fine i think we could use improvement at that position but i dontthink the texans have seen it out there. im happy with what they have done so far this offesason
  21. I agree but I would have preffered to see Kubiak open it up and have carr throw it down the field, succeed or fail, let it be known. I saw Eric Moulds who never got open except on short crossing routes over the middle for the most part, Underutilized tight ends, and the few times he did go sown the field to Johnson it worked or didn't sometimes in bad throwing downs. If Kubes didn't have faith in him why not try out your theory and expose him as not good enough. thats my whole opinion on it. I havn't seen an NFL passing offense much in their whole history. I'm talking about balls in the air 15 yards and longer 30 percent of the time. not any supposed carr shortcomings because thats what they are supposed until we see him thro the ball downfield. we know he has the arm and the accuraccy. I just tend to think he doesn't have the time(obvious) or the personnel. do you disagree that this team was closer to 8-8 last year (closer than they were to sucking) with the fourth toughest schedule in the league?
  22. the fact that carr hasn't been traded says to me that he wasn't really on the market. I think the Texans just entertained offers because the desire was out there. But no one blew them away which is what it would have taken. All these mediocre quarterbacks getting signed should tell you something most people fail to see Carr is or has potential to be better than any of these guys moved in free agency. The fact that he led the league in completion percentage on a bad team should tell you something. Consider that this past year's texans team was a lot closer to 8-8 than 4-12. The fact that the titans won more games is attributed to the fact that they defensive playmakers and a great coach. I for one will be real dissapointed if the team gets rid of Carr for inferior talent just for the sake of change. I think i have more faith in them as proffesionals to evaluate talent. I think they have come out and said that they need to do a better job coaching, they have said carr needs to improve. I think they also need a wide reciever that can get open not another possesion reciever, thats what the running game is for. Obviously o-line help to hold the pocket up for any quarterback to succeed. they need a safety and another d-back.
