  1. I purchased a Dell Computer and received three years of Premium Support with the purchase of the computer. I have had to use the technical support several times and found them to be very nice. This week I contacted the Technical Support Team and had conversations with two technicians which could not speak English very well and was not very technical. The second technician was supposed to be a supervisor technician and stated that he could help me. He didn't even know how to get into the Dell Connect to take over my computer and fix my problem. Every time I have contacted them it has been an issue with the Outlook settings. The Supervisor (Sanjay) not knowing what to do decided to wipe my computer clean after I had told him not to delete my files or documents. Now my computer is completely clean and twenty years of business and personal files and documents have been deleted. After he did this act he said "Oh well things happen". At that point I ask him what he was going to do and he said I will have someone call you within 24 to 48 hours. I told him that was not good enough and my business was completely down and I couldn't work. He told me that was too bad.

    This happened on Monday and on Wednesday Sumit Kumar Maity called me and I explained to him what happened and he said that Dell was not responsible for deleting my files and documents. I tried to explain to him again that Dell was responsible and I had spoken with the Micro Center in Houston and they stated that they could possible retrieve my files and documents. I told Sumit that and he said fine and that Dell would not cover the expenses.  He did offer me a $50 external hard drive. I ask him what good that would do and he said nothing but I would have it. I requested that someone higher call me and he said that he would his supervisor call me within 24 to 48 hours.

    Today Hemalda Victor contacted me from Dell Advanced Resolution Group and again I explained to her what happened and she immediately stated that Dell was not responsible and was not going to attempt to do anything about my files and documents and now she was not going to send me the $50 external hard drive and was angry that Sumit offered it to me. I told her that I wanted someone above her to contact me and she said NO and that was then end of the conversation and that her decision was final. She hung the phone up.

    To start the process with the Micro Center starts at $100 and possible more and takes 4 days. I have to work and I am trying to start my computer over. Honestly, I have nothing to work with personal and business gone.
