  1. I doubt it. No reason to risk putting a spec a lot on a main drag when interior lots are available. flipper I like it, but it will scare off ~80% of the buyers IMO. Plus, what if you change your mind on where you want your pictures hung?
  2. I can not believe that someone would pay 1M for any lot in Braeswood. Maybe they are disconnecting the sewer for another reason. flipper
  3. http://search.har.com/engine/dispSearch.cf...mp;backButton=Y Shame it's on a busy street or I may pursue it. flipper P.S. for Vicman, This house is zoned to the following schools High: Bellaire Middle: Johnston Elementary: Kolter Option: Pin Oak
  4. The sewer inspection was passed today too. flipper
  5. This comment from the comment section below the article ought to get y'all fired up: "dmghouston wrote: I don't think anything Granit Builders is doing is wrong. Why aren't you attacking the vandals you stole furniture and spray painted the place? The house is covered with mold and likely the house would need to be pretty much rebuilt. Not to mention it looks like someone built a box next to a mini-astrodome. Granit Builders has a reputation for building beautiful houses in the Bellaire and West University areas. I am sure while the house probably wont be preserved, Granit will build a beautiful home and keep some historical aspect of the property. No one complained when they tore down thousands of home in Bellaire to turn Bellaire into what it is today. I think Granit Builders is crazy not to take advantage of a beautiful property and like Cohen build his dream home. Where were all you people when the house was sitting vacant with leaks and mold? Why weren't you fighting the city to preserve it then?" flipper
  6. I can't believe the agent didn't even close the cabinets for the picture. flipper
  7. Just to summarize... What would the mod community like the current owner to do with the house, other than not tear it down? flipper
  8. $25,000 price drop today! It's gonna take another $50,000 to sell quickly IMO. flipper
  9. I hear ya' domus, trust me I'd like to see this house restored. I just know this is more than likely a dead lead. Most of my business is figuring out which leads are worth pursuing, and this one doesn't pass the test. flipper
  10. The current owner gives NO value to the structure. Trust me. I haven't been inside it, but if it's 1/2 as nasty as I'm told, chances are it would cost as much to rehab it as he paid for the "lot". As far as I know this was the most expensive "lot" ever purchased in Meyerland by a long shot and no one in their right mind would pay even more for it (so the current owner wouldn't have to take a loss), and THEN restore it. I think the communities' efforts are betted used to track down houses like this one that are in the state this one has been in for the last 5 years and rescue them from the owners before they become so neglected. my .02 flipper
  11. It looks to be exponentially more useful than any other Hummer product flipper
  12. The RL is really supposed to more boring than not. The TL is more in line with your demographic I reckon. Especially the 07/08 Type-S. 10k miles on our 07 and no complaints so far! flipper
  13. I'm definetly not feeling the 4 door accord. I hope the 09 Acura TL doesn't take any inspiration from it. flipper
  14. Ya know what, every time I've tried to go see this house a mini-crisis has erupted at one of my other houses. I'm gonna go ahead and take it as a sign that I'm not supposed to go in this mold trap. Sorry folks, flipper
  15. Don't mean to leave you folks hanging. Couldn't get over to the house today but I'm supposed to after lunch tommorow. I gotta admit I'm having second thoughts though. The owner told me that everyone he's taken in there has gotten sick soon after coming out. Apparently it is REALLY nasty in there. I may swing by and get some new filters for my mask. flipper
  16. I think it's worth about 180k. It doesn't have much MOD appeal in my opinion. Looks like typical 50's stuff besides the roof pitch and the globe pendant light. Looks like a weak remodel to me too. flipper
  17. Work has commenced at this house. The dumpster is in the driveway, the permit is in the window and there are already a couple green tags and a red tag. flipper
  18. Sorry people, I got too busy Thursday and Friday to make it to Moonlight. I'll try again Monday. flipper
  19. As of now I'm supposed to get inside the house tommorow. There won't be an organized tour though, as I was told quite seriously to bring a mask. flipper
